I remember watching him at Sens rookie camp that year. He was actually quite impressive. The thing for him was that he didn't use his size at all. He tried to play a finesse game when he needed to play a strapping game. Next to Dan Tessier and Brian McGrattan, he was the best invitee on the Sens rookie camp squad, with McGrattan getting a contract and playing well in the AHL and Tessier up and down between the Toronto Roadrunners and an ECHL team at this point.
