Helene Elliot has a little more info about Foxy's confrontation with Bryan Murray after the Ottawa game.

Anyone find it funny that Murray was actually advocating his self-control while he was screaming at Fox.

And that he only shut up/walked away when told that camera crews were filming him?

I've tried not to take sides, but a paraphrase of Mark Twain is in order here: "Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought [unprofessional] than to open it and remove all doubt."

As did B. Murray. It was a win-win-win as far as I can see. All I know is that I laughed my a$$ off watching the video over and over and over.

Yeah, I did too! I mean it's not often you get to hear Daffy Duck throwin' out curse words like that.

I wonder who'd be worse in the spit department between Bill Cowher and Brian Murray.

You would need a windshield wiper with either of them

Helene Eliot still doesn't understand why Chara fought Gleason. It was retaliation for Cowan, who ducked Ottawa's fighters all night picking a fight with Kelly, not anything that Avery did. Hard to take commentary seriously when the commentator doesn't understand what is going on.

Hard to take someone's post seriously when they don't have the facts straight
Fact- Kelly and Cowan squared off
Fact- Kelly and Cowan are roughly the same height and weight
Kelly Height: 6' 0" Weight: 195
Cowan Height: 6' 2" Weight: 205
Fact Kelly dropped his gloves before Cowan
Fact Chara is 9 inches taller and Gleason and outweighs him by over 40 pounds.

I'm in the 1% who care deeply.

The "tale of the tape" figures in this thread are all well and good, but how in the wide wide world of sports is Chara going to find "someone his size" to fight? Are their other 6 foot 9 Greco/Roman wrestlers in the NHL? I don't fault him for going after Gleason. Players watch highlights on TV and Chara must've seen Gleason forcing Shannahan into losing about a pint of blood a few days earlier... Don Cherry showed the whole country in slow motion this weekend.
