Beech it is

Quote:
The Predators recalled center Kris Beech and goaltender Brian Finley from the club's AHL affiliate in Milwaukee Thursday night. Both are expected to be at practice in Nashville on Friday.

... Ouch; doesn't look good for Leggy. Who centers the top line? Does Adam Hall move to center? How much ice time do we give Beech?

These two injuries hurt. I hope they aren't out to long (though I suspect Legwand will miss a good amount of time based on his reaction)

the only solution that comes to mind is that sully centers the 1st line. maybe a kariya-sully-hartnell top line?

Too many eggs in one basket for me. As much as it pains me, I'd just move every center up a line.

We still have a lot of wingers...With a Kariya - Sully - Hartnell line, we still have Erat, Upshall, and Hall who could play on the second....Looks like Beech will be playing on the top line, though......although I think switching Sullivan to center when we need the points is well.....a must.

3 centers out....our one area where we have the least amount of depth is where we get hit the hardest.

Man, who planted the injury bug in Nashville's locker room? It's almost as bad as the Green Bay Packers, just saw a clip of the Legwand injury, and... ouch. The Preds keep plucking more players from the Ads and pretty soon Milwaukee will have to borrow a few of the Mites that skate during intermissions.

I say let Hall center the first line, with Sully and Kariya as wingers.

Give Beech a shot on the top line. This guy is likely one of our top 2 centers next year if he can develop (YP clearly is a one year bandaid). He hasn't proved that he is ready but now is a good time to give him the chance. I'd go at least 3 games with him before I started moving guys out of their regular positions.
