Disagreement of Alberta??

Seriously what was that? No emotion , no effort, no offense. nothing. Was that a hockey game or televised snooker?

I really hope MacTs idea of a defense first system isn't this, cause I, for one, would prefer to lose 5-4 then win 1-0.

I have supported the Oilers through the good times and bad because at least they played and exciting style, but if we are going to become the Edmonton Wild, I will tune out..

Here's hoping there is some kind of emotion for the Buffalo game.

Come on guys, this isn't Oilers hockey. SKATE HIT SCORE remember?

I thought they started out really well.. IMO if Torres scores that goal rather than hitting the post, it's a whole different game. I was more angered by the craptastic trap the Flames put on for 1.5 periods.. it takes a lot of guts to play boring '95 Devils hockey in front of your home fans!

Yeah, but if those five or six Calgary shots off the post go in, it is a whole different game as well.

As for the posts, I love Patrick Roys quote when asked by a reporter about how lucky he was that many shots hit the post he said "It wasn't luck it was all I gave them to shoot at."

Or when he coughed up the puck to Grier for the easiest goal of Rosie's career.

He probably wouldn't be able to hear us saying this though, all those SC rings blocking his ears.
