I haven't seen how good Jesse Turkulainen really is, but i have heard great things about him and i'm pretty sure that he will be great player for Finland!
I think it's not very common, that defenseman is U16 national team scoring leader and he is also going to make he's debut in finnish U-17 team as an one year younger than he should???
I can understand your logic with the numbers, but I just can't see why make lists purely on what you read from the stat sheet. Or game reports, prolly as biased as they come. (Figuring you read them from the organisations pages).

Hence the reason I very rarely make rankings on youth players.
I just can't see the justification for people to make rankings on players (especially such young ones), if they haven't seen them play in person. The big picture often gets skewed, if you just look at reports and stats. Especially for comparisons to older players. Player X might compare to a good player, but how close is he to him?

Like i said before, it's allmost impossible to see all of these players playing regularly! I live in Helsinki, so i don't have that time and interest to travel somewhere like Oulu, (witch is hundreds kilometers away from Helsinki) and only see how good and talented this Player X really is?
When i know that some interesting player is going to play in Helsinki this weekend, then i usually go watch him!
I can honestly say that this list is allmost 80% trueth! but there is allways some players who's never going to be such as good that i've ranked them, but what can i do? I'm just the guy who give's these names for finnish people!

You are absolutely right with that ranking thing! I shouldn't not rank players that i haven't seen yet, but still i'm going to make these list's for people and my self, like who might be good and great player in the future and i'm pretty sure that allmost everyone who's on my list is going to be good or great player on their age group's in Finland!

Puustinen has 17 goals and 21 assists in 31 games as an 18 year old in the WHL; second in team scoring.
I'm looking forward to seeing him perform in the WJC.
I think he's doing very well. Toni is now 4th in points (12gp. 7+14=21) and he's now the scoring leader of 1991 borns in BSM. Toni was also his second time with the U-17 national team (1990) in Czech Rebublic last month and he made there two goals. He was also selected into the first U-16 team for the Nordic tournament.
And what do you guys think is -91 going to be even better than -83 were?
There are lots of talent in this age group (-91) right now (like. Rajala, Haula, Karjalainen, Laaksonen, Kumpulainen, Nättinen & Suorsa ect.) So, i'm pretty sure that -91 is going to be something special, but only time will tell us is -91 going to be better than -83.

Well starting to play hockey, I think at age of 3-4 would be some avarage. Or at least skating and having stick with you while smashing around puck/ball. I personally learned how to skate&going around with small stick at age of 2, but I think 3-4 is more common age.
Serious team, if you mean like going to team which is having practises and games, it's about ~6y. Youngest teams are for 6-7y old ppl, but as I did, some others want to go to team before turning 6-7, so you can go before it as well.
From 6 to like 11y ppl are normally playing just in local leagues, meanwhile just going to some cups around Finland. Then after that it turns more nation wide. Then at age of 13+ it's more or less nationwide playing in highest levels. Of course more local in lower levels.
If there is something to correct ppl, feel free, I haven't played in juniors in ages so it's just about when I were young.

I learned to skate when i was 4 years old, but no way i would call that an avarage age to learn skating. I'd say it's somewhere in 6-8 years. I have nothing to back me up so it's pretty much wide open
