Since they rangers need a spark, I think the Rangers should claim PJ Stock, since he was a fan fav here and he would be a big help like he was with the bruins. We need a spark when our team is playing bad especially at home. Id have Stock in and Simon out of lineup and Id deal barnaby for defensive help or prospect and put Keefe in the lineup. LaCouture-Stock-Keefe energy line would not be that bad. What you guys think?

Simon has a future here, becuse Sather says so... I don't know.... that line could probably work, who knows... but I for one am positive that Sather won't be losing Simon any time soon.
Always liked Stock. I was disappointed when we lost him in the waiver draft a couple years back. Would love to waive that bum Simon and claim PJ. DO IT, GLEN!
Stock's emotion isn't lost on me but he would do nothing to improve the team AND he would spend 90% of his time in the Penalty box. How does that help?

I completely agree. Stock can and is going to help some team but this is not it.
I've got an idea why don't we bring back Langdon, Kurri and Tikkanen
I mean langdon played well why he was here and he's a smart fighter, Kurri well he may be old but he can still pass the puck better than alot of our team and Tikkanen, I know he didn't do well the second time he was here but I really think he could come back and play well and play a good roll as an agitator and he can provide leadership.
Let's take a trip to the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't need any future at all. We can just live in the past through players that don't fit in.

I wouldn't mind Stock but we don't have anywhere to put him and he's not going to do anything significant for us, maybe when Simon is gone but not now.

Why not just bring up Richard Scott? Not that it would make any difference, since neither Stock nor Scott play defense.
Scott is cool but I just always liked Stock. He has alot of heart. I'm not gonna pass judgement on Scott because all I see of him is during training camp.

I would rather have a player who has never played regularly in the NHL, rather than a castoff from Boston. Why is Stock on waivers anyway? In any case, a player who's on the ice for less than 10 minutes a game is not going to "save" the Rangers. Especially given the state of our "defense." All this "move" will do is rearrange the deck chairs on the Titantic.
i dont get why everyone is using the "he aint gonna save our team" approach to this discussion.
no one is saying he's gonna be an impact player, but would you take him over the same roll Mike Siklenka has or even Chris Simon.
My answer to that is yes and yes. I'd take a player who is a bubble player but has heart over those guys any day of the week. And yes so long as this isnt a plug for the top two lines i could think of doing alot worse then guys like barnaby, lacouture and stock as my number 10,11,and 12 forwards.
in fact i can think of simon and siklenka as doing a lot worse.
no one is claiming it to be a turn around job but even in a minor roll i'll take a guy who gives it his all over a half ass effort.
will it win 20 more games for us? no but it'll make me not always feel like vomiting when i watch this friggin team!
