Prucha Question

I would just like to know if anyone knows for sure if Prucha will keep his number 25 from now on (Next year and so on)...Cause I'm getting his jersey tomorrow.

I have my own Prucha question. I'm not a Ranger fan per say...so why is Prucha only playing 12mins a game? Also, is he really as good as his recent stats are showing?...if so, again why don't they play him more?..thanks

He gets few minutes...

because Renney tries his best to roll four lines while giving Jagr 20-25 minutes per night.

Is he as good as his numbers? Well, he scored everyone of his goals. Some were pretty easy goals. Some were hard work. All goals were a result of him being at the right place at the right time. But like any good goal scorer (and supposedly that's not his forte), he needs a playmaker and isn't a Jagr who can do it all himself.

at this rate, i think so. Besides, im sure Jagr/Straka/Etc will all push for him to be put on the team.

The real question is what line Orts will be playing on for USA.

At 5'11 and a probably generous 172 pounds, all he needs to do is put his arms out and he'll get a close up of some guys shnoz in the stands.

Umm...I think the proper hockey description for such play is that "the puck tends to find him".

hockey sense is a good descriptor. all the best players have it...its what seperates the best from the rest....

If he really gets his wish, he might take 73 which was his number in Pardubice.

It seems kind of audacious for a not very touted rookie to ask for a number like 73

you're not giving him enough credit

he PUTS himself in the right place, and it is hard work to get there (right in front of the net with 2 defensemen on his back)

also prucha creates a lot of his own chances and even though it doesn't count towards anything, but tells you something, how about the 3-4 posts he's hit by ripping a shot from 20 feet out

he's not super talented, but neither are a lot of stars in the league

he just "has it"

Right now it defenitly seems like it but he won't play with Jagr. The Czech have one problem and thats the lack of 3rd and 4th line players. A big reason why Prucha already have made two Czech "dream teams".
