Looks like the Canucks are really taking it to the Sens tonight. Hasek is really on his game.

Yeah, they've outplayed us in this period.

They're winning all the battles and clearly trying harder.

Did I just see Volchenkov on the top powerplay unit? MY DREAM HAS COME TRUE!

Ottawa penalty for hitting someone with a check?

It'd be nice to have 5 minutes of even strength hockey.

Neil's been finishing a lot of his checks tonight, making a point of it.

Mesz going to get all of Reddens ice time tonight?

If that last penalty is on Ottawa, it's total BS. ALlen can't take a hit. He looks like he got mad.

The penalties are disgusting. Byran Allen nudges Varada and gets two. Its becoming a joke. This is supposed to be a big game. You need emotion in big games to create big games. The penalties are making players think twice about being aggressive, which makes for bad hockey.

Spezza looks terrible.

Meszaros is the best player on the ice...between both teams.

I am embarrassed that Jason Spezza is an Ottawa Senator.

I missed the first period, but have had a chance to watch the entire 2nd. Meszarros has been incredible. The Big line has been absolutely brutal, too fancy and not playing with focus.

What trash refs are ruining this game?

Meszaros is great. I don't think he's had a noticeable bad game all year.

Sens could use a late goal now but we'll come back in the 3rd.

Atleast the Sens PK gets more chances than their powerplay.

And I wouldn't go that far Bert, but Spezza looks terrible tonight. His lazyness is why he won't make Team Canada.

*shrug* The players ought to know how the game is being called by now. It seems as if one team has adapted.

The Canucks are a PP team. Ottawa would be winning if the refs weren't so brutal tonight. 9th powerplay already. That's brutal.

that last penalty is exactly what they have to get out of the game. Eight seconds left, 4th liners on the ice, puck in the neutral zone, and they call a chinsy holding the stick? That was almost as bad as the Fisher call, just brutal all around, but that last one was the only one i care to complain about.

Is the weather too good in Vancouver? *** is going on?

Let's turn it around, boys. Start skating. I'm relieved we got out of that only down by 1 goal.

20 minutes, come on, bring it on ...
