Koivu's Return?

Hey, we don't hear much about the Habs in Florida, so can anyone tell me if he will be back in time for the games against the Wings and Isles. I'm gonna be really upset if I travel all the way up there and he's not playing.

From what I hear the Koivu's return should happen soon. I have a feeling he will sit out Thurs. game versus Pittsburgh, but will be in the lineup Saturday versus Toronto. Long before the games you mentioned.

Unless someone else has heard different.

Sweet! I'm going to the game against the Islanders. Hopefully we'll kill them like 6-0 and run over Marius.

There are ads on RDS that say it's gonna be Saku vs Mario. It's not really reliable, but I think they only ran today (I might be wrong though).

Julien made a comment to the effect of, we'll see how he is on Saturday.
I'm starting to think he might be another 7-10 days. They don't want him at less than 100% and he has to adapt to a new brace if I heard correctly. I'm getting the impression that they are a bit nervous about it.
Nothing concrete, and I hope I'm wrong and we see him Saturday.

From what I understood, he might not play Saturday. They should sit him as long as it takes. If we have any chance of making the playoffs, it Saku who takes us their.

I would also think our goaltending would have a major part in the Habs making the playoffs

Julien was quoted in today's Gazette saying he's not sure about Koivu returning this weekend or even next week.

I wouldn't expect to see him this weekend or on Monday against the Wings. I wouldn't be surprised if he sits out until the 25th against Ottawa.

If Ribs and Perrault keep playing well, it will be much easier to give him the extra time.

Apparently, Koivu really wants to play and he did not seem very happy that he wasn't in the lineup for today's game. All this according to Yvon Pedneault. I'd expect him to be in the lineup this saturday.

It is Theodore, who will most help us make the playoffs
