Don't look now..Columbus headed to a shoot out with Detroit tied at 3 right now.

Detroit had a powerplay in the half of the OT period but couldn't put it away.

Detroit's first ever shoot out. Columbus has never lost in a shoot out.

Detroit up 2-1 in the shoot out. Fedrov HAS to score to keep Columbo alive..isn't that weird..and he doesn't.

Detroit wins 4-3. Jackets first time to lose in overtime this season.

Hmm...Lets hope that deflates them a little for tomorrow night.

A couple of corrections to the GDT:

Nationwide Arena is in downtown Columbus, not in Worthington.

Rusty Klesla is no longer on the IR, he was activated last night.

David Vyborny may not play tonight, he injured his ribs last night and was taken to a local hospital in Detroit.

What a sorry excuse for a period of hockey. 7 powerplays for Columbus and they got nothing out of them. 1 goal lead for the Blue Jackets.
