Frank Milano succesfully circles around the ice to make him the last Geezer on warm-up ice. Hockey night in Finland.

for a guy who takes so few penalties i was surprised how much stick work he was using there. he looks a little stiff or tired, something looks a little off right now.

as i type that beuauy play by Milano

There is that slow, lazy Milano creating another chance (assist on the first USA goal).

Milano just created another chance and then skated hard to get back on defense and steal the puck (play was called offside)

IMO, Milano has been the best USA forward so far today.

US shooting themselves in the foot. Can't connect on anything. They look like Denmark out there.

Werenski walked again. This time they score. Game is borderline

And that's why Werenski won't be in the NHL this year.

Milano's line has been the only line for the US that showed up. No show from Matthews thus far.

I think they tried to out skate the Russians in the first and use their speed in the bigger ice. But I think they ended up using too much energy and are gassed on a bigger rink than they're use to. They need to make better quicker passes instead of relying on speed.

Werenski picked a bad game to look like ****. This game is over unless the Russians get penalty happy or a lucky bounce.

Russian trap was impressive. Reminded me of the Olympic game vs Canada.

No show (positively) from Matthews and Werenski.

Thank god the US is out. Tried to be big and bad because they're America but the Russians didn't have any of it. Bye bye.

Sonny's line should have played more than Matthews' line. Pathetic effort.

They should have played like they did in those last two minutes the whole game. They just couldnt establish themselves all at until the Russians started playing Uber conservative in the last 2-3 minutes. Didn't seem like anyone could set anything up.
