Jagr on way to Record

FLYLine's little Jagr - Graves Record update got me thinking about this

Jaromir Jagr currently has 23 goals in 31 games. He's 29 goals away from Adam Graves' Rangers record.

Does anyone know how many of his 52 goals Adam Graves had after game 31 in 94?

I tried to look this up, but couldn't find a game-by-game stat summary for it.

Thanks.

It's not that no one likes your thread, it's that no one seems to be able to answer your question. I do know that Graves had 10 goals in the playoffs that year, and that one of them was in game 7.

I don't have my old media guides near me. They are in the garage and I dont really feel like digging em out at the moment.

What I do remember is that Graves had a near even split, so about 42 games into the season (the season was 84 games back then) he had around 25.

Jagr is on pace to break the record, but just like HR records the real challange isn't starting hot it's staying hot during the mid season 3/4 season lulls.

Talent isn't working against Jagr, so much as father time. He'll be 34 in Feb. and has a history of nagging injuries, especially with his groin.

Can't answer the question either, but I am pretty sure Gravey had 52 goals, as opposed to 53. I'm not sure I want to see this record broken, although I think if it is it will mean the Rangers will be very successful. I just admire Adam Graves so much and want him to be remembered for his greatness, especially that season.

Actually the more interesting record, might be if he breaks the single season point record. He's also on pace to do that, but it's been under the radar.

Yeppers and he did that in only 63 games too. I believe Messier is second with 107 pts in '92 when he won the hart trophy.

As someone who has followed this team since the Oh La La Sasson days,I don't want Jaromir Jagr to break the Adam Graves 52 goals in one season
