That Lays blimp at the Wachovia Center pisses me off...

I caught one of those slips... and I was expecting something like a signed stick/ jersey... it turns out to be like 50 cents off of Lays Potato Chips (I assumed that was just the sponser).

Lays doesn't make hockey sticks or jerseys. Why would you think that in the first place? Were you ever at a Flyers game?

I'd personally like to see someone play King Kong and jump and grab the thing, bringing it down in humiliating defeat.

I can't believe I am even commenting on this, but I hate it too, just because.

I assumed at the time they were just the sponsers of the blimp, and the things it dropped for Flyers related things. Not that farfetched at all.

It is kinda silly to expect it to be signed equipment, though. The thing drops like 15 coupons every period, they wouldn't give away THAT many signed articles.

I think they only let it go in the end of the 1st period, not in the rest of the games. I only saw it drop 5 other tickets or so. I don't go to that many games, so I'm not an expert on Flyers R/C blimps... but from my experience, I thought I could have gotten lucky.

I've always wanted to shoot that blimp down. Potato chips don't cost much, having a coupon for them isn't going to help me much.

If you can afford Flyer tickets it should be assumed that sed person can afford potato chips.

Just a thought.

I don't know, but I was at a game a few years ago and we started a "we want chicken" chant. They only needed one more goal for us to get the chicken...and they came through

The chicken thing is still around. I almost got crushed when I went to a Flyers game and we got 4 goals, and this guy I went to the game with just flopped on top of me. It was pretty funny.

I was thinking that, but then I thought, if you're buying Flyers tickets, you might not have enough money left to afford potato chips.
