OT - Jersey for Christmas

Hey guys...and girls? For Christmas my fiancee said that she would be me a jersey.

Problem is..........which one?

It's between Richards or Carter.

I would like a Richards jersey but my mind is telling he will traded within a year or two.

Who do you think is least/more likely to be dealt sooner? Richards or Carter?

Neither. I'd buy a 12 GAGNE.

But I think both of them will stay, especially if Primeau don't get better soon enough.

Richards looks to be a future captain of the Flyers. If I absolutely had to pick, I guess I go with Carter.

I think Pitkanen would be the safest bet, but of the two you listed, I'd have to think Richards would be more likely to stay a Flyer.

Maybe Richards will be the future captain of the Panthers when we trade him for Luongo?

Go with Therien. He'll be around for another 7 years (straight from the horse's mouth).

I don't know about that, Therien is already taking the minimum. In seven years I don't think he could pay Clarke to keep him around.

It was a joke from that thread with the interview with Bundy, saying he wants to play till he's 40.

Honestly, though, if we have more people wearing Therien jerseys then he might get better. Or something.

My cousin has a Therien jersey,it's sexy.

I want a Handzus jersey.

But if it's a gift,I think it should be up to her to surprise you on the player

I got that, it's just that he is borderline sixth defenseman right now who is getting paid the least he could possibly make. What else could this guy do to make Clarke resign him? Especially knowing that he's probably going to get worse, unlike Rico whose been a rock.

If I got a Flyers jersey it would be of Eric Desjardins. He has a great history with the Flyers and has been consistently good despite his age. He'll probably retire here and god willing will help bring the Flyers home one more cup before the time comes.

I could see Carter going before Richards, Richards just seems to be utilized alot more, they seem to really like him and feel comfortable using him in any game situation, Carter however seems to get little ice time

It all depends on what you want it for. If you want a jersey of a player that is going to be here for a while, then opt for one of the younger rookies (Carter, Richards, Nittymaki) or Gagne.

On the other hand, if you just want a jersey and the player isn't important, tell your fiancee to go to www.nhlgameworn.com and get an actual game-used jersey. For the price of a numbered/lettered replica or authentic, you can get a game-used jersey for not much more.
