Seems like they read the post about the site looking crappy

It looks much better than the previous layout too.

I'm sure they do in one way or another. Obviously they don't have the time to read all the fan mail themselves, but I am sure stuff gets read by their people and is communicated to the relevant players.

As an aside, Dykhuis and Traverse are listed in the prospects section. Oh my, is the future that grim?? :p

I don't like it. Better information, but it's still rather ugly. Too much red for me, it hurts my eyes.

Still looks too cluttered. Then again, I'm a tad picky.

I agree ... you're picky.

Seriously, the red is a bit much. After a while, it does tend to burn the eyes. I like the landing page though.

I work online an awful lot, so I like easy-to-read sites. Too much red, it just bothers my eyes.
For NHL teams, here are some of the sites I do like:

http://www.caneshockey.com/
http://www.dallasstars.com/
http://www.lakings.com/
http://www.newyorkrangers.com/

Hey, whatever... I just think it could be easier on the eyes.

I like the remote controlled zamboni they're selling in the boutique.

I like it, but isn't our next game against the Pens? The red is a bit annoying, but I really like the first page.
