Pretty straight forward question...there's the 10 goals per season scoring machine Sandy "mr.grin" McCarthy or the new penalty taking and...well, pretty much just penalty taking Chris "this one time, in Washington..." Simon.

My 5th option is more of a conversational piece then anything else..when Simon was signed, for awhile I was afraid that this was Glen's answer to Eric's LW problem...but now that it's obvious he's just a 4th liner on this team (which is where he belongs anyways), why not just screw Simon and sign Adam Graves to play that part, and put him next to the Mess. Sure it won't be 1994 all over again, but at least those two would click more then *** Simon.

I'm gonna have to go with that one. We never really needed Simon. Barnaby, Purinton, and Siklenka should be enough to keep other teams honest. Granted, Siklenka wasn't picked up yet when we signed Simon, but its easy to pick up goons from the waiver draft.

I wonder if Sather actually made an atempt to claim Steve Webb or sign him. Id take Webb over Simon and McCarthy. Id love for Scott to be up.

I honestly think we could have done without either one of them. Then LaCouture could play the role he's best suited to play (4th liner) and Barnaby could move to the LW next to Holik, making room for Keefe to play on the 4th with Dan and Mark.

Mess and Graves sure would be fun to see one last time. And then ride off into the sunset.

I voted for the 3rd one. Simon and Sandy do nothing that a younger, cheaper, hungrier Richard Scott couldnt.

That old dog is playing fine, and I am glade we have him. I know we just have such great talent that is so much better then him that deserves to play that 4th center spot. He gets enough crap on the board when he dose any little thing wrong and cant even get a break when he is playing fine. News flash he is hear all year. and hopefully he has a good year.
