Who will get the most starts for the rest of the season ? Just curious to know what you think.

After running Niitty into the ground, it's impossible to tell what Hitch will do at this point. It'll depend on how Esche's groin holds up I guess.

Esche. Hitch is gonna give him a chance to get the mojo going. Of course, I'm assuming he doesn't get injured again.

Chico will get about 80% of the starts from here unless something out of the blue (injury/trade) happens.

I'm pretty confident Chico is the guy. He was huge today and just seems to make more game-saving saves than Nitty. For every brain-fart he has, he makes 5 huge stops. If it was up to me, I stick with Esche.

How quickly we forget Niitty's performance on the road trip. I thought he made quite a few game-saving saves during that stretch. Best case scenario is if Esche plays like he did tonite every nite and his groin holds up so we have an experienced guy going into the playoffs.

Esche will get most of the starts.

I'm not very confident in either of them though.

I'm not forgetting anything about the road trip. The team played better than it is now on that road trip, not to take anything away from Nitty, it was a marathon and he played well and had some hilight reel saves. I just think that when you need a big save, it's more likely to come from Esche and I think he responds well to a heavy workload (which is happening a lot lately when half the team is out).

Nitty, he's starting to find his form again + he can be consistent, Bob's luck will run out and he'll deliver that one game where he sweeps everything on the ice into the net.

True, but come playoff time, we can afford any brain-farts
