28th on the PK!

Thanks to some stellar goaltending and ironically, thanks to the refs for giving the Flyers a ton of penalties last night, the boys have moved out of last on the penalty kill! I think after 2 months of hearing every night about how bad the PK is, this change warrants some discussion! I think it can only get better from here.

Great... dont forget Hatcher and Rathje, I've heard they did a heck of a work on Columbus' 5-on-3s...

Sami, Hatcher and better goaltending have all played a part over the past 2 weeks.

The only good thing about being the best on the PK is that we had nowhere to go but up, and it looks as if we're starting to do that.

The real test will come when we play some better PP teams. Columbus, I don't think, is that good on the PP.

Columbus dead last on PP vs Flyers dead last on PK. good matchup? Nice to see us moving up the ranks, only sad part being its possible for us to go down now. I agree Hatcher, Rathje, and Esche have definitely stepped up. Glad Esche is getting back together, he was looking real good vs columbus, though their offense isnt quite #1. Got some good teams coming up, vancouver and buffalo should be nice ones.

who is starting against vancouver anyone hear anything... tough call for Hitch I think he'll go Nitty then Esche against red hot buffalo. I say Esche against Ottawa too. After that we coast for a litle while.

In last nights GDT someone posted it's Esche against VAN, Nitty against STL, then Esche against BUF.
