Wade Redden (knee injury) and Chris Kelly (foot) are also not expected to play for the Sens

I think if we play the way we did in the 3rd period against buffalo tonight, ottawa has no chance of stopping us

GUERIN WILL BREAK THROUGH THIS SLUMP AT SOME POINT. He is now on the cusp, it seems.

If Dallas plays like they did in the 3rd period vs Buffalo then a lot of teams will have a hard time beating us..except for one small problem...we only scored once through that entire thing..

Ottawa will be a tough test but very winnable.

Spezza, Redden, Havlat and Kelly out, Emery in net.....that doesn't look too bad

Do you think Ottawa sucks or something?

EDIT: I think Kelly will be playing (but not for sure).

Chara, Phillips, Heatley and Alfredsson in. Doesn't look too bad.

The replacements have been flying.
Bochenski (for Havlat) - 5 goals in 6 games
Eaves (for Spezza) - scored in only game
Shubert (for Redden) - 2 goals since insertion

Emery 9-0-1 in NHL starts.

That said: It should still be one hell of a game and to me it's a coin toss. I see 5-3 Sens. Maybe 5-3 Dallas.

Enjoy watching Mezsaros. You'll see why the Sens gave up on Gleason.
FYI: The Sens have outscored the team you just played 21-5 in 3 games this year.

EDIT: Nice GDT by the way.

Why the bitterness? Is there some history?

I had a bit of a brain fart, I was thinking that Gleason was with the Stars not the KINGS.

Mesazos was who everyone on the board wanted before trading down to take Fristic and Fransson

That's what Avs fans thought...with the exception of Emery in the net. Dallas should match up well physically with Ott.

Howdy Stars fans from Victoria, TX!

I'm still mildly ticked that the Sens aren't traveling to Dallas for a game this year. Used to be an annual two/three day pilgrimage for me.

It's refreshing to see Stars fans saying the Sens are ripe for the plucking. It is quite the difference from the Western Canada road trip where every game out there was a "measuring stick" for where their team was, regardless of how many of the Sens star players were out of the lineup.

Modano, Zubov, Arnott and Guerin usually wind up killing us the times I've seen Stars/Sens matchups, so I'll be closely watching them tonight.

I'm interested to hear from Stars fans on some of the Sens players....Heatley, Meszaros, Emery post game regardless of score.

Cheers!

The biggest thing tonight is that the "Stars Killer" Martin Havlat isn't in the lineup. Somehow the last few times we've played, Havlat single handedly beat the Stars.

Oh well...good luck to all! I hope it's a great game!

How many times do I have to hear
"(Insert Dallas Player here) passes it to Guerin,
Rolls off his stick/
He Can't Control it/
He doesn't see it"

It's getting a bit old.
