I imagine that was the case. I think mine were showing "price if you renewed"

The website may not have allowed you to do the transactions out of order. IOW, you had to renew first THEN purchase the playoff tickets. After March 13 if you hadn't renewed the invoice for the playoff tickets would show the amount without the discount. I don't know this, just guessing.

Just got an email that my ticket rep is leaving. Don't think I've had the same rep for 2 years in a row in about 5 years now.

Below are the rates that were sent out this year. I am assuming the gate rates are the values in white.

And mine shows the same as yours. I did sign up for a 3 year deal and still see a $700+ invoice for 1 seat in the 300's.

Mathematically if you had the highest priced 300's level seat (Lower Sideline Balcony--that's 300's right?) the most that you should pay as a FSTH would be $430 and as a HSTH $590, including the $10 fee.

For my 2 seats in club level the entire playoff package for a FSTH is $994--fees and everything. No way yours should be $700 for only one seat.

I assume you're talking about playoff tickets, not the entire STH bill?

The playoff invoice for 1 seat in 309 is $722. Per the chart they put out, it should be about $300 plus fees.

Yeah, something is wrong then. No way they should be charging you that much for the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Same here! It really makes me wonder WHY they can't keep a good rep. It seems the bad ones stay forever and get promotions.

That is what they publish to scare you into paying for them.... Then if they don't sell, they will lower the box office price. They did it last year.

Thanks to all who replied to my original post!

According to my ticket rep, the policy(required to renew season tickets before receiving discount for the current years playoff tickets) is 2 years old. I may have been asleep at the wheel or more likely automatically received the discount because I was in the middle of a 2 year renewal.

Anyway - Doesn't seem right to me! Little respect to current season ticket holders.

And now with my season tickets renewed, my playoff ticket invoice(Goal Zone) is still showing $1250/1st 2 rounds( RD1(2 seats x 4 games x $69) + RD2(2 seats x 4 games x $84) + $10 fee). Hopefully, I will get the discount at some point. Very reluctant to sign-up on-line for these tickets.

I contacted my rep this morning about this and she said that the box office manually makes this adjustment on their end and that no new invoice is generated. She is having them manually generate a new one for me. Maybe request the same on your end.

Edit: I just re-checked and the invoice is now showing $310 instead of $722

That's a little more like it. Did she give you any indication as to why they were charging you that much initially? Just an internal screw up I guess because they were charging you gate price! (Of course I did the math...)

Their new policy is until you renew, you don't get a discount on playoff tickets.

Ah. I did both at the same time but I renewed first THEN pulled up the playoff invoice.

I renewed the same day the emails went out, but my playoff invoice never updated. That's why I knew there was a issue of some kind.

My rep left at some point during the year but I was unaware of this. I never got any information about tickets and there was no invoice on the website. Others had gotten notices so I emailed "him" It redirected to someone else so I knew he was history. Substitute rep probably set it up manually right then.

Not sure if anyone cares, but there was an email sent out that all playoff tickets are non-transferable. If you can't make a game, giving it to someone you know will be a pain.

It's been that way for years. It's actually easier now with mobile entry. Open the mobile ticket, take a screenshot, text the screenshot to the person who would be getting the tickets,

Last year you were able to transfer QR codes. Am I mistaken?

Taking a screenshot actually circumvents the policy.

They have blocked transferring playoff tickets since we played the Blackhawks a few years ago. This is the 3rd year of the non-transferability. And I don't know about the QR codes. This is the first year that I have heard of mobile tickets.

Preds/Wings fan living in Detroit.

Hopefully a home Playoff game falls on a saturday so I can fly down to see it. How hard do you guys think it will be for me to get a ticket to the game since I live in Detroit?

Very. The last few years they have restricted it to the Fox Sports Tennessee viewing area only.

Didn't Blackhawks fans get around that by waiting until they got to their hotel and used that address to order?

Stupid pain in the ass if you can't go or are taking a friend and meeting there
