On a side note, I played soccer with Ramzi Abid when I was 5. He was a ball hog, but the guy was the best player on the team. Even then, you could see his athletic talent. I was surprised when I saw that he was drafted into the NHL (i think by the Avs) a few years ago. Anyhow, I'm predicting that he'll be hyped up to be playing at home and score a goal. The other Pens goal will come from Lemieux.

Yikes, you've got the same handle as a respected poster (RE-HABS), and the same avatar as another one (anon), two long time posters. Spooky, if you ask me.

I predict a 5-3 win for the Canadiens. I will be taking my brother and sister to the game, and it will be nice reading the comments on this thread after the game.

Oh my god... the end must be near. Plekanec puts something positive about Dackell. You imposter! What have you done to the REAL Pleks?!?

About the subject matter. Sundström plays 4th line because someone has to and hes about 6-7 times hockey player Gordie Dwyer is. I'm sure hes just happy to be in playing outfit, biding his time, waiting for opportunities. Hot & cold streaks, injuries and that sort. At the Caps game his line was playing about 10 minutes - and that ice time will propably be on increase with Begin centering them. I wouldnt be surpriced if Koivu starts working himself to game shape and lifts Sunny up with him. I'm not thinking them as a traditional 4th line ... Habs are more like a 2a 2b 3a and 3b line team IMO.

Gazette atricle from this morning:
http://www.canada.com/montreal/montr...C-536027E71C81

Says Theo is getting the start and that Koivu may be out longer than expected.
A quote from CJ:
"He won't be back (tonight) and I'm not sure about this weekend or next week,"

Not good news.

2-0 Habs. Back to back shoutouts for Theo.

Where on earth did you get that lineup for the Penguins? Far from being fact.

Lemieux -- Straka -- Koltsov

Malone -- Holzinger -- Bradley
Murley -- Eastwood -- Buchberger

Scratches: Kraft, Simpson

Tarnstrom -- Berehowsky
Melichar -- Baumgartner
Orpik -- Focht

Scratches: Bergevin

Caron
Fleury

That's much closer to what you can expect to see tonight.

Good luck tonight. I'm looking forward to seeing Hossa and Ryder. Will they both be playing?

I'm predicting a 5-2 win for Les Canadiens...Last game I predicted 2-3 goals for Ryder and he ended up with two assists...I guess that's not too bad since I consider assists to be just as important as goals...so I'll predict 2-3 assists for this game and see what happens. Also, Ryder will be one of the 3 stars again tonight!...If he keeps playing like he has in his first 3 games then I should be right on the money!!

I like this quote from the coach

Quote:
"We're making some progress, but we're not there yet."
If the Habs continue their play of the last 2 games and get even better than that...

I think the habs will win that one too

Quebec goalies always seem to play well in Montreal, so The Franchise predicts a low-scoring game.

2-1 Habs
OR
1-1
OR
1-0 Habs

Scoring for the Canadiens will be Audette, and Markov (if they score two)

I don't want to pick on you but.....I think that Charpentier would have something to say about that! Either Quebecois goaltenders are great or really bad! Let's hope whether it is Aubin, Caron or Fleury, they will look like swiss cheese!

I am hardcore habs fan but tonight it's tough because pittsburg goalie is Sebastien Caron (native of Amqui) where i'm from and i know is younger brother pretty well so it's a tough call but i will go with the habs in O.T

3-2 Habs

Pitt:Lemieux 2goal

mtl:Hossa
Markov
Zednik O.T

P.S: Good luck to Sebastien Caron a great hometown kid and evribody in Amqui is proud of him. (Remember never drafted by a junior team and in his last junior year won the memorial cup with rimouski oceanic)

That crossed my mind when I made the same comment - Charpentier isnt that young anymore, hes 26 years old. And you know they sent Aubin down, so he should be safe.:p

I don't think there's any way that the Juneau/Bulis/Dackell line allows three goals against from the Pens first line. The JBD line has been hot lately, I don't see this type of a breakdown coming up.

I'm gonna say 4 - 2 for the Habs. Good things come in 3's.

I think Montreal will dominate this game once again. Pittsburgh defense is weak so our forwards are going to skate around like they would in a kindergarden's playground, like they did against Washington. It will be a tougher game if the Pens can match the speed of our forwards and play a physical game.
