...

"Kanko-sores" are very very painful. Nick Nickson referred to him as "Con-Ko" last night? I always thought it was "kAnko".

I have not seen the phonetical spelling of his name. But I have always called him cane'-ko. And nobody will make me say it any differently.

You need those in Europe too. I thought that was only a problem in America. My view of the world has just become a little more bleak.

My prediction: the Kings will win a close-fought back & forth game, then afterwards, you won't be able to tell the Kings didn't lose by the tone of the posts on this board.

Who told these players (Conroy, Kanko, etc.) to just throw the puck on net? That's not in the playbook.

Solid first period. Cammalleri had a sweet pass to Gleason that unfortunately didn't lead to a goal.

How long until we just dub Avery/Belanger's line as the #1 line and give them those minutes too? I actually wouldn't mind putting Demitra on that line and see what happens. They create tons of chances (+ rebounds) and a shark like Demitra could really pot some of them. Then reunite Frolov & Conroy as a quasi-stopper line with the capability to score too.

I don't like AM's new 'restrictions' on Avery. It takes away the spark he brings to the team.

edit: Why isn't Brown with Avery/Ebel?

They learned that on other teams

Kostopoulus was mostly to blame for that goal. He had a chance to clear the puck (with no Coyote within 20 feet of him) and he rushed his clearing pass and shot it right at a Coyote player. Sometimes a penalty killer needs patience. Being out of control causes problems.

Am I just crazy or is it the job of the team with a 2 man advantage to get as many shots on net as possible and to try and get to the rebounds? The Kings are constantly looking for the perfect pass. If you have 2 extra players on the ice just throw it at the net. Odds are if there is a rebound your team will get to it first. It just frustrates me that these guys do not get that.
