Well I wouldnt call Begin a goon hes more like an agitator. But I'm betting for him, after McKenna isnt on your Pens lineup. :p

Another very possible winning for the habs. I think they will win 3-2.

Hossa, Zednik, Brisebois

Morozov, Straka

sometimes the games you assume you'll win are the scariest (oh course I expect the habs to win EVERY game, so....)

Hope the guys don't look past the pens. Then again it's hard to look past a team that has Mario Lemieux on it.

Habs-5 Pens-2

I think Habs will win 3-0, with goals of Hossa, Dackell And Audette.

Since Theo appears to be the starter (haven't seen any confirmation but I just got on here), does that mean Garon will play against the Leafs on Saturday?

Great job on the game thread Bulis! I'm gonna say 2-1 Habs with boths goalies playing great games. Morozov scores for the Pens, while Bulis and Ward find the twine for our Habitants.

Holy cow, this game is scaring me. You look at that lineup and wonder who the hell are these guys. The team can't get over confident. They must come out with a solid defensive game and an clutch attack once again tomorrow night.

What a way to start the season. They could almost go 4 and 1. Enles something disastreous hapens vs the pens. I mean The leafs wont even have almo (mogilny) in their line up vs the habs. Man if they win the next 2 games witch is very possible I think were in it for a good season. In media likes sporsnet who predict the habs to do nothing are going to look like ediots. The difference I see so far in this young season compared to the one from last year is that we have young guys welling to work theire ***** off to stay in the line up and to make a good impression. And like it our not its going to make an impact with the olders ones like juneau and etc, a positif one. Unlike last year players like chow and mckay and whoever else would slack off and do what ever they wanted to do. because they knew they had a spot in the line up.

Im allready liking this years edition and we havent even seen players like Béjin, Landgon, koivu and kilger yet.

By the way you might of noticed that the line of audette, Ryder and perrault are doing very well together and have a great chemistry. Last year when audette was send down he played with Ryder most of the time on the pp and on the first line so dont be surprised that their doing so well. Just a litle note.

Looking into my crystal ball I see:

Habs 3 Penguins 1

Goals coming from Bulis (7 shots) Hossa (5 shots) who are due, Ward gets an empty netter, minutes after Koltsov ruins shutout for Theo. Juneau and Dackell pick up assists and +1 from Bulis goal. Begin takes Mario to the box with roughing penalties, propably after slightly late hit on Straka.

If Juneau line can do the same to Mario they did to Jagr & Co I dont see Pens making too much trouble. Once again their team is revolving around Lemieux - and to a lesser degree Straka and Morozov. Penguins are team on the road coming off from frustrating tie. Another team with poor D, even with Orpik back I have difficulty figuring who's their best defender.

I wouldnt be surpriced to see a game like that we saw vs. Caps - Habs limiting them to less than 20 shots. The thing preventing goal total becoming ugly is they got young Quebec goaltender in the nets. Those seem to play their best games @Montreal, but three seems to be their magic number this season.

I'm predicting that the Habs will win 3-2... gives me an early birthday present!!! As for the goal scorers, it's about time Markov puts one in the net. I also have a feeling that the Ribeiro-Zednik-Hossa line will have a good night.

On a side note, I played soccer with Ramzi Abid when I was 5. He was a ball hog, but the guy was the best player on the team. Even then, you could see his athletic talent. I was surprised when I saw that he was drafted into the NHL (i think by the Avs) a few years ago. Anyhow, I'm predicting that he'll be hyped up to be playing at home and score a goal. The other Pens goal will come from Lemieux.

Why is Sundstrom a fourth liner in most of your eyes? He is a very good player, lots of skills. He adapted to a defensive game on an offensive team (NYR, SJ) Now that he is playing with a defensive team, I think he will stand out better then most.
