Yeah, that's better than I expected too, although he might have more tests this week to determine a more accurate prognosis.

Hopefully he won't miss too much time, because despite what some posters have said about him this season, I like Miller.

Must I point out the obvious? (See current teams)

That attempted charge was equally disgusting as well. The refs were waiting for any type of retaliation to call and couldn't wait to pounce on Chara.

Miller is tough but don't underestimate Ovi, he is a big dude. Also, if Miller ends up healing well & coming back I really don't want him injuring himself in a fight, just play 3rd pair well like you have been, please!

Not to take this off topic but can anyone tell me where to find the TMI for Chara and the rest of the defense? Particularly wondering if Chara's ice time has gone down since Lile has come on board?

Me three. Happy to hear that he's... well not OKAY, but. It looked season-ending.

He's been excellent when given smaller minutes. Much closer to the guy that he was when he was first called up a couple of years ago.

Negative. You can get this information on NHL.com.

Of course, we only really have two games to judge. Last game got skewed after Miller left the game.

Krug's ice time went down. Miller played 16 minutes and then 22 minutes. Liles went from 17 to 19 1/2 to 21 1/2. McQuaid is still playing more minutes per game than his season average. And Seidenberg may be seeing a slight reduction.

Yes better with less minutes for sure. Its just laughable that Puke Ovechkin not suspended .That was Lucic or certain other players.NHL be right on them.League is corrupt .

I always look at it as if the players were reversed. Kevan Miller would have been kicked out of the game faster than you can say "Zac Rinaldo".

There are probably about 10 million sites where you can find this info. Just google Chara game log, and you can find stuff like this:

http://espn.go.com/nhl/player/gamelo...45/zdeno-chara

Glad to hear it's not looking long-term for Miller.

He had some tough times, but rounded out of late after some time with Seidenberg. Miller playing pretty good hockey is miles ahead of any kind of replacement we have...he's a must.

Exactly.

The league honestly has zero credibility on the issue, double standards is rampant.

Sorry, I think Miller would crush Ovi in a fight. Miller is sneaky tough and has done some damage in a number of fights. While Ovi is big, don't think he's got much fight skills.....Either way, if Miller did go after him Ao isn't gonna fight him anyhow.

Its really tough hopefully he gets back soon, said Tuukka Rask. Hes been playing great. Really solid. Hes always been solid defensively, but lately I think hes really improved his game with the puck, finding lanes to pass the puck and score some goals. Hes really been on top of his game so its a tough loss, but hopefully he gets back soon.

Some of the haters can read this. Tuukka doesn't really throw around compliments that often. I would like to point out the always been solid defensively part. I have to sit on here and listen to people who tells me he does absolutely nothing better but fight than guys who are really talented puck movers. My point being if they were him in the defensive zone at this point in their career , trust me they would always be playing.

If it ends up long term I think we would end up on Colin but I am pretty sure it will be Trotman tonight based on shooting right and the style of D-man that went down.
