but we'd not be able to discuss it.........

HF Boards would come crashing to a standstill if Marchand made that hit. Would make volume of discussion on TDL look minuscule and servers would need a week to reload!

C.Miller at the start of the season yes. C.Miller once his confidence was shot...no

Day to day? That is amazing, the guy was in agony after that hit. I had visions of another surgery on that shoulder.

Well, that is very good news for Kevan Miller

Kev M. is one tough dude.

I can't believe he's only day to day after that hit. The way he went off the ice I thought for sure he had a separated shoulder. That it's even possible he'd be back in a week or two is a testament to how tough he is.

Gotta give the guy props... he's definitely been playing much better lately.

Hope he's not out too long for both him and our team.

Agree. Miller is a hard worker and he's a tough dude. I hope he's back soon.

A lot like the Krug injury a couple weeks back. Hope he makes a quick recovery.

He may be no great shakes but is still probably the most underrated player on this board.

Would love to see him come back and punk out ovechkin.

100% agree on last part. . next time Bruins and Caps play.Claude needs to send out a tough line to have his back and let Miller have at him.If Ovechkin will not drop gloves.Hit him anyways. The guy knee what he was doing.Weasel.

Yeah, I should have specified. He's who I think should be in there, not who I thought it would be.

And, how did his confidence become shot?

I give Clode props for where he has the team this year, but I'm not sure I could disagree more with the way the D has been deployed.

K. Miller out, B's give up 51 shots.

Give Tuukka a medal.

Each time Julien sat C.Miller, his game changed. He went from making the right play to trying to make a play. His shot selection became poor, trying to shoot pucks through defenders. Defensively he needs some work, but let's be honest. The Dcore as a whole needs a lot or work.

So my initial point was,
(prior to the injury) K.Mille was better than C.Miller

Whilst I agree it could be a contributing factor, correlation doesnt imply causation in this case.

If K Miller is smart he takes a friendly deal to stay. No one is going to give him the leeway for mistakes and shear confidence that he gets from Claude.

I am obviously a supporter but unless we get him cheap he will probably have to move on. We have to get rid of someone and its not going to be mcquaid, chara or krug. I cant see both seids and k miller being here together next year. My guess is that kevan will get a nice contract that Don wont want to pay but if we can get super cheap we would be crazy not to sign him.

lol ya ok whatever, we will see that he doesn't watch many games from the stands next year for another team.

LOL, fan boy. Relax, I didnt say he couldnt play in the league, but he is certainly isnt a top defender like Claude is playing him.

You are right he isn't. The problem is we are short on high end defenseman. He will be a 15-16 minute guy on any team not a 8-10. This year he is often forced to play a bit more yet he is the only guy you ever pick out as playing too much when there is a lot of over extension on our blue line minutes.

That I can agree on. They need one, or two depending on how Chara plays in the playoffs (assuming we make it).

He is dead to me since that 14 Habs playoffs series and hasn't done anything since to redeem himself. Can't wait for him to be gone and his spot/icetime given to a D that can actually make a pass or do something with the puck.

Well I will admit he had some big mistakes against montreal these are his stats for that playoff.

11 0 2 2 2 8 0 0 0 6

He was plus 2 against Detroit so that means he was even against the habs . Again I am not arguing he didn't have some horrid moments but in no way do you throw away the key on a guy for his first playoff taste.

Here is his one playoff in providence
Providence Bruins-AHL 9 0 5 5 4 10 0 0 0 15 0.0

Single handedly gave the puck to Lars Eller in game 6 at Bell Centre. Lost all the momentum after that. deflating stupid mistake.

Yeah I'm bitter still.
