GDT: Game #32 12/21/05 Predators @ Blackhawks 7:30pm CDT

@

7:30pm CDT - United Center - FSN - 104.5FM

"On the road again..."

Head out on the road, hopefully we build on the last 3 games and keep this streak going. Just remember to play our game and not get caught up in being "on the road."

Go Predators!

PS: Today is the first day of Winter. Brrrrr.

It's been warm (well low 40s...) here lately, was pouring down rain earlier tonight. That and there is massive fog, I hope my brother who is flying in from LA can land.

this is a tough road trip coming up, and I think the key is that we HAVE to beat the beatable teams. Tonight is one such game. That Edmonton\Calgary\Vancouver stretch makes me nervous, so winning games against the Hawks and BJs would take a little of the pressure off.

I've got my Predators Santa hat on for the game tonight. I had it on last night and we won. Coincidence?

After reading the whole Lapointe article this game sort of scares me. If we don't come out matching their intensity we could be in for a long night. Oh and should be some fisticuffs. its a shame I'm going to miss it.

Just a pic from one of my new favorite movies. I'll be changing it to something else in a few days.

Requiem for a Dream

And the new Narnia movie is good, a few parts I didn't really like but for the most part it's worth watching.

I completely forgot to TiVo last nights game (although from what I hear about OLN I didn't miss much...)

My bro is coming in from LA and he's starting to enjoy hockey, so we'll be watching this game tonight

oh yeah, I remember that movie. That's a pretty crazy one right there, interesting but a real mind trip.

so, Im expecting a win tonight. With the way our season has gone so far, I expect a win every night. I wonder if we come out with the intensity needed, but I am confident in our ability to come back in any game.

....timonen-zidlicky.......NSH....13 goals/35 assists 48 points

this pair is also the 3rd leading scoring d-man combo on the pp;
....mccabe-kaberle...10g/35a....45 pp points
....lindstrom-schneider 10g/29a..39 pp points
....timonen-zidlicky...9g/22a......31 pp points

My guess is beech. That line really didn't do much last night.

I agree with Trig that Beech would be the one to be scratched tonight should Johnson return. As I've said previously, I'd like to see Johnson paired with Kariya to see if they can build some chemsitry together.

I also would expect to see Mason start tonight. Just think that Vokoun needs a night off coming off his injury and with a third game in four nights right around the corner...Mason should get the start. Thoughts?

I think Upshall should be on the possible scratch list as well.....that being said I would give Perrault a rest.....he is old, and needs to see what is possible if he wants to take a night or two off, as has been his MO in the past....

you're right.. the amended guess who's scratched list probably should be:

...fiddler?
...smithson?
...beech?
...perreault?
...tootoo?
...upshall?

(i'm guessing fiddler, not saying he deserves it, it's just a hunch)

at least they didn't take the dad's to Florida, it could've been an uglier Florida trip
