I'd have to eat my words and concur ( being a LaB fan).

I'm very pleased at the outcome. JR had a very good game too, nice to see.

how were those Sedins though, could've had a ton more points.

The top line stank though.

The Sedins have been great this year. This game is no exception.

Kings are now tied with Dallas for 1st in the Pacific..though Dallas does have three games in hand.

If Roenick can start producing this is going to be a very tough team.

HUGE WIN to start the trip on the right foot.

Onto Calgary.

...

I know i'm late but KINGS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very enjoyable game to watch. Very little defensive play by either team. Garon is the man on breakaways.

Garon is definately in the zone, he isn't letting in those backbreaking goals like earlier in the year.

I agree. I think the Kings would be legit contenders if they got one more d-man, and sent Weaver down.

Very deep and gritty/fast forwards. Wicked scorers (Demitra, Frolov) and grinder/checkers (Belanger/Avery).

Yep. You can just see his confidence.

Look how he was challenging the opposition during the shootout. Awsome!

Why do you put Frolov on the shootout, then? He played pretty poorly too. Is that blind favouritism. Corvo was there because he's one of the best puck-handlers on the team.

On a side note, I'd like to see what Belanger can do on the shootout.

Yah, in both previous shootouts (against Nashville and Anaheim) we won them both 2-0 (Demitra 2-2, Fro 1-1 and JR 1-1).

But we have yet to be scored on in the SO, which I think is a great testament to our goalies!!

Because he's proven on breakaways. He can put them away. He was off the score sheet tonight, but he didn't make major mistakes.

Like how he puckhandled at the blue line, resulting in a 2-on-1 against?

I guess some of you are forgetting that penalty shot goal scored by Corvo against the Red Wings.

Giliuano looks great. I'd love to keep him up here on the big squad.

LOL.

The fact that Corvo was in the shoot out is complete BS. It should have been Cammy, or Roenick.

He makes foolish decisions sometimes...doesn't change the fact that he's got deking skills...I don't know, maybe Andy just wanted to see what he could do...but he's made some pretty sick one-on-one moves this year. And maybe this was a reward for his good play in the past few games.

Frolov...its not like I don't want him on there...I was just using their respective situations to strengthen my argument.

I was laughing when Naslund got knocked on his *** and it lead to the tying goal, and I was laughing harder when he got stoned by Garon in the shootout. lol...**** you, Naslund!

What a joke. Corvo had possibly his worst game of the season and Andy rewards him in the shootout? If that's not blind favoritism, I don't know what is. Roenick should've been given the nod for the great game that he played. If anyone deserved it, it was JR, not Corvo
I know it's unpopular 'round here, but I'm a Corvo supporter. That being said, I totally agree with you. Andy Murray portrays himself to be such a motivator - he blew a REAL opportunity to further help a vastly improved Roenick by failing to show confidence in him in the shootout. Should have been Demitra, Frolov, Roenick.

But the Kings won, so I can't complain.

No ****. I've never fully forgiven him for that comment after the Kings beat the Nucks in the final game of the season two seasons ago.

I guess you guys "choked" again, eh Markus.

to his defense, he shouldn't be playing right now. He has a groin pull and is pretty useless by his standards out there.

Yeah, that must be it. Maybe if I had Murray's memory, I could remember that play from a month ago and ignore all the plays from the most recent 65 minutes
