Sweet. Anything less than 1.5 million is fine. A little too long though.

If it's under 1.2 I'm happy. You need to have solid bottom 6'ers in the league at a cheap price to do well. Flynn/Mitchell/Byron is a fine 4th line and gives us cap flexibility.

edit: Nice. 1.16 per

$3.5 million total, can't complain as he's been one of the few bright spots on this team.

Decent contract.

Very good 4th liner.

One of the few ''bright'' spot this season.

That's a 4th line with an average size u der 6'0 and they're soft overall.

Provides vs scoring to our penalty kill, which is useful, but Therrien finds him to be a top 6 failsafe, which is really bad.

Mitchell 2.0. Another great contract for a 4th liner.

Now, let's trade the guys you don't want to keep Bergevin !

There is nothing wrong with our bottom 6 players, it's there usage like Weise's that makes them bad. The logical solution is to get rid of the person who creates that problem and that is Therrien. Hopefully logic prevails in the summer.

That's Bergy. Safe. Predictable. Whoopee! I like Byron. Fine player. Money is good. 3 years? 1 year too much. But...it's Bergy...

He may well have tried to sign Weise too, to a reasonable deal. Good time to know if both sides want to make a deal, just before trade deadline.

He got it done here.
