Now that he's scratched maybe Nylander can practice his SHOOTING. Ya hear that, Michael? SHOOTING. It's what you do with the puck when the other four skaters aren't open and you can't pass it to them. SHOOT the puck. At least sometimes. Unless you're passing to an open Jagr or Prucha. Other than that SHOOT.

This isn't to say that Jagr's the next to be benched, but this team needed a shake-up and Nylander was in a role most needed of the shake-up. I just wish there were fresh legs coming in to take his place (other than Nieminem).
Absolutely, it's about time someone over 30 got a taste of what a game looks like from the stands.

Although, we all know (including Nylander) that he will be back for the next game.

I always dislike negativity in a GDT, but that was pretty funny, considering you are Mr. negative.

You might as well be trying to sweeze water out of a stone. Nylander has never been big on shooting unless it's a sure thing. He will always look to pass first.

In any case, he's not being sat because he doesn't shoot; he's being punished for taking stupid penalties.

A smart and necessary move by Renney because it shows he is fair, consistent (Poti, Hossa, Nimenin), doesn't play favorites, doesn't pay lip service to his demands and puts the team above everything else....Even if we lose the game because of not having Nylander, this move can only help the team building process..And if Nyhlander doesn't like it, tough noogies....Way to go Renney...

Hollweg, Nylander and Orr scratched. Nieminen, Hossa and Strudwick in. Kondratiev in too. Tough to scratch Hollweg, especially against a team like TB

Why does me being Mr. Negative make it funnier?

Wow. Bandwagon jump much?

Not trying to be mean or anything but its not like we've had a 12 game losing streak or anything.

Lets hope Nylander's benching sends a message, these guys need to start working as hard as they did the first 20 someodd games of the season.

Prediction: 4-3 Lightning. Prince Vince owns us.

No I was just being a bit cynical. All jokes aside look at the bright side we could be like the other team that plays in the garden.

Is it just me or are the Rangers aiming for the lightning crest on Graham's chest?
