My God if the Rangers play like this every night, they are the best team in hockey, better than Ottawa.

wow, jagr keeps pulling the exact same play...get the puck, skate to the top of the circles, cut to the middle, pass it off to the D who's joining the rush, and they get a good shot off

why the hell does poti always take the extra second before he shoots? it gives the goalie enough time to get into position...

Maloney's pretty funny. He's making fun of the officials voice calling him a munchkin. He has his momments. Since I have to listen, he makes it fairly enjoyable.

poti's never been a good goal scoring d-man. at his peak, he was a good passer, but never a great shooter.

haha, good point. i suppose it's a shot at him in and of itself to say that a player is no longer at his peak when he isn't even 30 yet... and he just got a penalty... grand.

only a break in that they called the right penalty. he wouldn't have been that open to get that shot off if he hadn't whacked moore in the head

I didn't see the replay, sounds like he did it on purpose though? Not so much of a break then, yeah. I had just thought he clipped him right before taking the shot but I guess that isn't the case.

nah it was pretty much on purpose. can't see how someone could do that without thinking they're gonna whack the guy behind them with their stick

I wouldn't be surprised if Jagr was playing hurt, he just doesn't look like himself out there as of late. First of all he loves to shoot and score goals and if you notice he hasn't been shooting nearly as much as he was and he is thinking pass first all of the time. He also seems to be dragging out there as well.

Another good period for NY. Just when Poti starts to play well he takes a dumb penalty(his second of the game). This guy will never learn

Once again, most Rangers penalties are hooking calls, this team needs to learn how to legally reel in a skater, because these last 2 games have been rediculous.

Lovin the effort, tonight, though. Playing well, sounds like we are absolutely flying.

About ten games ago, JJ fired a wrist shot and immediately started rubbing his lower abdomen. JD speculated that he might have pulled something. He's been kind of hot and cold since then.
