Road Warriors

Among the league points leaders, Buffalo's now played more road games than anyone else (19):

The points they've racked up on the road to date are going to look even better once some other teams niping at their heals (like Philly who's played 21 of their 34 games at home) start to spend more time on the road.

Gotta love it. Remember their road record the previous year? And how those wins on the road really could have helped us make the playoffs.. blah.. that's all in the past now. So glad to see that they are able to play just as well on the road. maybe it was all those years of the fans not showing up or opposing fans in our arena.. that helped them get adjusted and comfortable? lol..

I think the difference is clear (from last season to now).

It starts in the nets, works its way out to the D, and then to the forwards.

We're getting top notch play from guys that have failed to produce in the past. Can't ask for much more than that!

Edmonton has played more road games (21) than Buffalo.

So have Boston (21), Tampa (20), Chicago (20), Calgary (20) and Florida (20). I think he's talking about the 13 road wins and the number of road games left for the top half of the current Eastern Conference standings.

Calgary has only played 18 road games. Edmonton has won 12 on the road as well.
