36-0.

Enough said.

Giants were the predicted underdogs in this game. Doesn't mean that much since they'll kill Oakland next week anyways.

Yup, 36-0. Ha! - take that TB! Now, a better question is - Will Redskins make playoffs? Chances are that they will, but it all depends, it all depends on other teams. We, on the other hand, control our own destiny.

Hail to the referees...

That was a brilliant performance by the refs. They had a great win. Did the Redskins play at all because all I saw was Zebras.

Actually as far as the wildcard if the Skins win next week I believe they're in. They'll definately win next week, not only will the Eagles be battling injuries they'll be battling the refs. Although it'll be in Philly and the refs like the Eagles too, especially in the Linc.

Except how the Eagles would love to ruin the Redskins chances. And I'm making a bold prediction here, the Redskins will falter. They have got a banged up QB and I doubt they win in Philly.

Redskins won...

because they played harder, better and smarter than the 'Jints, and without their starting QB. The 'Jints haven't looked good since November. 35-0 is a looong time ago. If the 'Skins make it, I give them a better chance of doing something in the playoffs based on momentum alone. (I rooted for the Giants, by the way; just trying to be honest)

Where are your Giants fans? We're looking forward to making the playoffs!

Seriously, though, these Giants are the ultimate schizo team. They're either pretty good, or totally awful, depending on the week.

I'll be pissed if they dont make it, but they've been playing over their heads all year. They are hurting without Antonio Pierce too. And I was a Will Allen fan going into this year, but the guy SUCKS. How many missed tackles saturday?

I'm pessimistic when it comes to the Giants. I'm 22 years old and I got into them after the 91 super bowl. Ever since then its been a lot of dissapointment. The playoff games vs. Minnesota and @ San Francisco leap to mind...

I'm right here, my man.

I'll give it up to The Redskins. You won the game but if you think you've got the better team you've got another thing coming.

The Giants have virtually no starting linebacker and be honest - you got a gift call on a roughing the passer call that lead to one of your TDs and the Giants got a bogus holding call against them on one of their TD.

when all is said and done you got the win, but the Redskins don't scare anyone.

OMG that's such an old argument. The Giants are 2-0 against teams on the road that are below .500 (not counting the Saints). The Giants still could've easily won that game. This is an OLD argument. This is akin to me bringing up the refs of this Skins game 14 weeks later. It's old news stop whinning.

Not to whine but actually that game was Redskins and refs vs undermaned ny giants.

But injuries and terrible officiating are part of the game.

I can't wait to get the Redskins in the playoffs at Giants stadium. I am rooting for the Skins to make it there.

Are you for real? You are actually placing some blame on officials and injuries? The 'Skins were without Lavaar Arrington and Clemons from the linebackers, Randy Thomas from the offensive line, and Carlos Rodgers from the cornerbacks. Oh yeah, and the top 3 corners were all banged up and Jon Jansen had to block Strahan with two broken thumbs. So, please let's not start to give injuries any credence.
If the 'Skins do not scare anyone, whom do the Giants scare? They had one more home game than all the other teams in the league. They have two road victories all year, one where they barely squeeked by at San Fran. The other one was not much better. The 'Skins lost in the final minute of regulation on the road at Denver & Kansas City, while the Giants barely beat those two at home. And the 'Skins lost in OT to San Diego. The Redskins have a better division record and have the best conference record in the NFC.
I am not saying that they are world-beaters, no one in the NFC is. However, the difference between the two teams is one divine intervention game when Pierce sold out the 'Skins gameplan on both sides of the ball. Gibbs made the adjustments, Caughlin did not.

Pierce sold out the Skins game plan?...and you're telling off CrookedRain for using injuries as an excuse?

Adjustments? The Skins simply outplayed the Giants.

Ya know, if the Giant's had won the first game by 7 or less points, you could whine about Pierce, but 36-0? The Giants won that game because Mara's death inspired them to play with their hearts and souls.

Teams seem pretty evenly matched to me.
