Wolves looking good...

Anyone's seen them play??? Looks like Foster is ranking PIM, points and shots on goal...

How has this guy been playing so far?

Are those stats really telling the truth about his game?

He's looking like the Foster we saw early last season, which is good. Last season he had a great start but slacked off after taking a hit along the boards early in the season, and never seemed to bounce back from it.

While he's still taking a bad penalty or two, his on-ice leadership appears to really have gained confidence.

If you have a good connection, you can watch the OT period from Saturday's Wolves/Utah game -- Lehtonen stole the show and Foster rips the game winner.

Wow, that was a rip by Foster.

Lehtonen looked like he was two steps ahead of the shooters in that video. One of them spun around and Kari was already down in the butterfly waiting on him to shoot. What kind of shots did he give up the two goals on?

The first goal he was screened, and the puck found the next just inside the top corner.

The second goal he gave up a juicy rebound back to the Utah player while he was out of the crease challenging, with the Wolves defenders were not in position.

Thanks for the updates WolfKeeper. It seems like Kari is still adjusting to the playing style here with more screened shots and different angles, but that certainly sounds (and looked from what I saw) like an impressive debut with the Wolves.
