Nice work by TC to make it happen... I think the Sabres might be burning it down tonight...

How about Buffalo 6, Isles 0 and the headline "Snow gets plowed in Buffalo!"

Maybe if we blow someone out the stupid "one-goal wins" comments will go away...

But the Sabres have had such an easy schedule so far.

Combination for the goal... Timmah, Soupy, Kotalik... Three guys 90% of us wanted to see traded in the preseason.
Sums up how good it's been so far.

So far Miller does not look sharp.

Man, I take ten minutes to open up one of my daughter's new toys, bam, they give up two goals.

Side note: I swear, someone needs to kill Sabretooth or teach the dumb donkey that's wearing the outfit that banging on the glass is the most annoying thing EVER!

And Satan scores. Ugh.

Miller had a pretty weak period. This team was absolutely dominating the play and the cheap goal by Blake changed the game. Now we have a 2 goal deficit to overcome...

holy ****. I missed the whole first period, and it's 3-1 Isles when I turn it on??? what the hell?
I saw someone posted that Miller doesn't look sharp...were they rebound goals, or positioning? grrrrrr.......

Sold out crowd...Great chance to show a lot of these casual fans in attendance how good this team is. Not looking too good heading into the second period down by a pair.

The Sabres absolutely dominated the first 8-9 mins of the game. We hit a couple posts and it could have been 3-0 easily. Blake came down the wing on a weak angle and beat Miller 5 hole. A minute or so later Yashin let a wristshot go from a little ways out and scored again. I'll credit Yashin for a very accurate shot, but it was not unstoppable. I didn't even see the 3rd goal, anyone care to recap please?

^^ 3rd goal wasn't much of Miller's fault - shot from the point which he stopped and went wide, and then took a hop off the end boards pretty much right on Satan's stick who snuck it into the empty net before Ryan even knew the puck was loose.

What a crappy penalty on Vanek though. I definitely would have called it, but it was just an accident on his part and he was going for the puck.

I just saw the replays.

first goal was crap. Miller should be ashamed!
second goal- he was beaten in the same place as the goal he gave up in TB...someone's taking notes...
third goal- I agree, not much chance for him to stop it.

Miller hasn't known where the puck is at all so far tonight. I've been scared everytime the puck came near him in that period. We need him to bounce back in the 2nd.

The second goal was pretty disappointing. He often gets beat stick side when moving from his right-to-left. He's taken himself out of position a few times this year on similar lateral movements.

Weinhandl. Man, such a disappointment this year -- I really expected him to light up the league this season.
