You can have Ozo from the Ducks if you want. We'd take a good LW or C back. Will add picks to balence it out. Add Sykora if you want him.

Apparently not. A big factor is neither has a very big shot. Good shots, but not fearsome weapons. It also doesn't help that the Devils don't have a go-to guy on the PP that can attract the attention of much of the defense, setting up other guys for easy goals.

So really all they need is a shooter to compliment Rafalski or Martin as the high hub? Why not try out one of the Jersey forwards back there?

These proposals are starting to tick me off, Gomez for PP specialist isn't gonna happen. Gomez in deal for young good #2 or #3 may work though.

How bout a Leetch for Gomez straight up swap? Who better to be ur PP Specialist then a guy like Brian Leetch. Just curious to what Devils fans thoughts on this would be?

Heck, Id even add onto the deal to include Raycroft if NJ wants a good young goaltender to take over for the post-Brodeur era. Dunno what we'd have to add comin back our way to make it doable, probably someone that makes around the 2.5 mill mark, for cap reasons. Maybe something like this would work...

To NJ:
Raycroft, Leetch

To Boston:
Gomez, McGillis(throwin 4 cap purposes)

Id like to ask for a pick comin back our way too, i think itd make it a lil more even, but ya get the main idea, id love to hear the Devils fans thoughts on this one out there

Yeah, Ozo is available from Anaheim. He's had his injury problems but he is looking at this weekend as his return. The Ducks would probably settle for some picks/prospects.

oh man if we traded for liles i would ***** myself. i get to watch the aves a lot because it's my bros favorite team. he is amazing. quick and has a great shot. but i would think he is untouchable. offense is the least of your problems. you guys have no trouble scoring.

You want Brian Pothier? He's great at slowing the game down (Offsides, icings, shooting it out of play, etc.).

It could be a sign and trade, Morris would be signed to a reasonable long term deal, can't they do that after Jan.?

Nedved is having an off season, he looked like he was returning to form before that asshat Fedoruk cheap shoted him. Nedved is not done IMO.

They yotes could also throw something eles in a pick/prospect/player?

I highly doubt that the Devils would make a deal with the Islanders but I would be thrilled if we could flip Sopel to you for White and somebody like McGillis to even out the salaries.
