ESPN Article on Luc

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else yet.

Luc:
"No, I don't think I'm owed anything,'' he finally replied. "You have to earn your place in the lineup. Doesn't matter who you are, what you've done or how long you've played.

"You play because you're good enough. But I do think I deserve a little respect.''

Indeed you have Luc.

Let's see 4+ more!!!

Luc played much better last game...got some solid chances, just couldn't pull the trigger...I'm calling a multi-point effort tonight...at least one goal and one assist against the Avs.

On a side note, I was looking at his career stats on one of the recent game broadcasts...does anyone else think he would've reached 700 goals if he had just never left the Kings?

I'd say that would have been very possible. Turn those three 20 goal seasons with Pittsburgh and NY into 30 or 40 (which he was averaging before and after those stints) and there you are.
