The Kings are good at taking inopportune penalties. 5-4 Yotes.

Yotes are 3 of 6 on the powerplay. Maybe Miller was the only thing making the PK effective and Hardy needs to be put on the same out-of-town bus as Van Boxmeer

Weaver is a 6th d-man. Dempsey is a scratched or a AHLer. I just cannot stand how he is constantly taking stupid pennilties.

That's what I was talking about as far as giving up a softie that could kill his confidence, but that's something that he's going to have to forget quickly. It hit his arm, there's not much he can do about it.

The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with unrestricted free agent goaltender Jason LaBarbera, Kings Senior Vice President/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

No ****...our D is going to kill us down the stretch...a very volatile situation there...it appears strong at times but can break down at any time for an untimely goal.

ANd I think we should all lay off Labs...not his best game, but the guy hasn't really done much to warrant our disdain despite bearing the brunt of Garon's good play and Murray's decision to establish a firm #1.

Jesus what do some of you people expect? He hasn't played in how many games? Half of you knocking him now are the ones who were calling on Garon to be traded when he was hot earlier.

I'm pretty sure it's a 3 year contract, but I could be wrong.
The Kings have come back twice and this guy keeps letting them down.

Tough. The guy is a professional NHL player. If he can't be a good goalie as a backup then he shoudl be in the AHL.

Doesn't relaly matter all that much. He is going to be on the big club for a another year and get to play the Floridas and Atlantas of the world.

I just wish he was not playing a division game.

Cammy has shown to be a more consistant point producer than Frolov. When was the last time Fro came thru? Dude is due. Cammy is quickly becoming a top scorer for LA.

Who will end the year with more points/goals Camms-Frolov?

I don't feel too confident about the outcome of this game. Hope I'm wrong, but Mara & Nagy are killing us. Well, that and not staying out of the damn box. For not having played in quite a while, LaBarbera isn't doing as bad as I'd feared.

Frolov is and will be a better player then Cammy.

Cammy is stepping up (thank god) but he is not a Frolov level talent.

At this pace, Cammy. Fro needs to step it up.

I don't give a crap how long it's been since he's played. The Kings have given him enough offence to win this game, and he's let them down. 5 goals on 20 shots is pathetic.

He is a good goalie, his record in the AHL proves that. Sometimes you have off nights, everyone does. But what about the horrible defense in front of him? Or is it all LaBarbera's fault?

Than tell me where the hell Fro has been this month? Show the F up and produce arse wipe. Dude is on the team to make things happen, make them happen. It may be time for more AM mind tricks on Fro?

LaBarbera could've been better this game, but he's still a good backup. Just because he's not the great #1b that some of you were giddy about early in the season, there's no reason to want to get rid of him. Most teams don't have a backup 'tender that's better, and I'd wager that Jason is better than many.

I'll predict that Cammalleri will have more goals and Frolov will have more points (playing with Demitra and Conroy will do that). Right now, Mike has 2 more goals, but Alex has at least a dozen more points.

I think Cammy's finally proving his worth, the last 2 months.
As is the whole league minus about ten to fifteen players. Ice time equals confidence......the more he gets the more you'll start to see what we were talking about for the last three years.

And Rick Knickle was a great AHL and IHL goalie, but where did he get in the NHL?

Cammy has a better shot without question...they could compliment each other nicely on a future line.

Luckily this isn't an either/or situation.

Cammalleri is Ciccerelli.

Frolov is Kurri.

He probably re-aggravated his groin again. He likely returned to the lineup too early the first time.

Are the goals LaBarbera letting in bad? Or is the defense lacking? What's going on?
