Edge, clearly your post did not include enough 'toughness' and 'grit' for TBBB's taste. In the future I suggest that you try and find a way to include Colton Orr in your discussion.

Considering that it was one of the most incoherent rants politically I've read on the internet (next to Paul Krugman, of course), even novices had to see the humor in it.

Part of it was crazy for the sake of being crazy and some of it was a tongue in cheek poke at some of the reactions I see around here.

We tend to be a very dramatic bunch around here.

That's why I don't like Messier because he's bald and stupid and old and bald!

Now that he is gone our team can finally stop pissing themselves and find a cure for cancer before accepting the nobel peace prize. Messier is a communist tree hugger who wants to run for office so he can put Buddhism our central religion. He's from Canada and anti-democracy and wants to take away your rights. He's a darn right-wing liberal who wants to ban and approve gay marriages and abortion just to befriend everyone. He's flip flopped on his stance on The Rangers war and he's listening to Dick Cheney. Good riddance.

Hence topics headed with the title of "bandwagons".

Hey, it was 10x more insightful and entertaining than any of the "articles" that have been written about the rangers on the main HF site in a long time.
