if theres one constant, in the first 3 games, that i noticed is the kings skating...if the kings can get a good flow offensively, they would be very hard to stop and it would be like game 2 and 3.
A constant that I've been noticing is shooting. When they shoot, they win (not profound, I know). The problem is that they're not shooting almost as often. You'll often hear Miller or Nickson comment midway through a period that the Kings have yet to register a shot in the period. Just about every other game, it happens in the first period and that's an inexcusable trend. The Kings cannot let that happen against the Stars.
I'd pay to see a line of Ryan, Giuliano & Kanko. They would be flying out there.
Well, with Frolov, Demitra and Conroy and Armstrong, Avery and Cammalleri... I guess you have a pretty good chance of seeing that line out there, with Brown, Robitaille and Popcornopolous as a unit (I guess Kostopolous can take a face off...)
Wow! They just showed Cammalleri's goal against Phoenix, the backhander from the slot. Boy, was that a sick shot. I have to agree with the Times writer who said that it was one of the prettiest of the year, by far the prettiest backhander.
