You are all mad that you didn't pick him up for close to nothing during the off-season right?

Nah it's just a fluke and Donald should be happy that rookie Ryder is playing so well.

Geez i hope he doesn't keep I hope he doesn't keep it up. We just got over the last bout of Audette and Perrault trade rumours.

gee the season is one week old and you are already saying "I told you so"

Well---some see me in Feb. when Audette is either injured or having a 30 games scorless dip

the first week means nothing

At least Audette has heart unlike Czerkawski.

I'd like to see all of you fight back after nearly having your arm cut off. When Audette was sent down to the minors, he went with a smile he didn't complain and he worked hard to get back in the NHL.

I have to give this to Donald. He ain't one of my favorite but it is true that he didn't make any waves about this. He had to face a lot of adversity and that arm injury was nasty as hell.

I think he'll have a better season this year.

I think that's a pretty safe bet... don't think it's possible for him to have a worse season!

Didn't complain? He contemplated not reporting.

I wouldn't. Audette's attitude and work ethic (in Montreal) far surpasses what Chow did last season.

Audette is capable of far better than what he did last season and I think everyone here knows it. In the 2002 Playoffs, he was one of Montreal's best players. He was horribly misused under Michel Therien's system in 2002-2003 though, and suffered as a result. The whole fiasco with him going to the Minors could have been far worse if he'd complained or whatnot. When he came back up at the end of the year, he began to play well again.

Audette is a solid player; not worth three million, but a good NHLer with heart.

Have to agree with you there....being misused and coming off a serious injury does tend to make your numbers drop!!

Injury Pron? dude...that's just sick....

One thing about Audette...he doens't give up...that arm injury was just sick...he's been pooped on for a few years now, and quite frankly, he deserves better considering the adversity that he's been through. I hope that he keep this up for the rest of the season so that the Habs media and Habs fans stops using him as a human fire hydrant.
