This is a amazing punch Peter Worrell

Now go to this link and click the ouch button. Peter Worrell looks like he is starting to round into form and doesn't look good for ECHL Goons with him and Big MAC with the Checkers. This guy needs to ko Brashear just once in red white and blue

If he's learnt to play hockey, I wouldn't mind seeing him up, but until then...

He's a fighter...probably the best one. Throw him on the 4th line over Hossa or Nimeinen

We've already got a fighter who isn't being used...we need two? I'd venture a guess that Orr > Worrell in terms of non fighting skills too.

Ok well in that case send down Orr and bring up Worrell, no one will mess with us then. And sure Orr has more talent in that case, but Pete has 10 times the fighting skills. Probably the most intimidating guy in the game

Orr doesn't inspire fear from the stands, neither would Worrell. If we were prone to getting in fights sure, try it, but we aren't. Orr's lack of PT is a testament to that.

Orr can't be sent down unless you want to risk losing him on waivers. If Orr is sent down his roster spot better go to somebody in the AHL not ECHL.

Right or Wrong in todays NHL guys like Worrell are going to have a hard time finding ice time.

He isn't the most intimidating guy in the game today. Guys that can ONLY fight are not intimidating they are obsolete.

As much as I would like to see Worrell play a few games I dont think he should be called up. Sure he would fight but the last thing we need is more PIM. This team is undisiplined enough. When the stupid penalty-taking goofyness stops then brin him up.

In a fighting sense, he's the most intimidating. Point is the Rangers won't be hit around and banged around by other teams...EVER. I'd much rather have Worrell on the pro squad as a healthy scratch every night than Hossa.

Not this again. If we put a goon in the lineup the other team wont hit us....EVER? C'on.

Yes they would. I don't know what makes you think an enforcer provides some sort of shield from the bench to protect Jagr & company?

If Worrell is a healthy scratch how does he protect his teammates?

Thankfully Worrell isn't in the Rangers plans and for the most part neither is Orr. The Roster spots Hossa and Orr take up should be given to guys in Hartford who deserve to be called up.

Every team needs a "goon-type player" who drops the gloves, plays rough, and throws a ton of hits. Orr is ours. All I'm saying is Worrell is better than Orr at it, and he should be used like Orr when called up. When we play tough teams, dress em both over Hossa and Nieminen, doesn't sound too crazy to me

Looks like Worrell is playing exactly where he should be.

The only game in which we were man handled so bad that we couldn't do anything was against Ottawa, One enforcer dosn't do us any good, nor would two. Stop preaching for another enforcer, and stop preaching that part of the game, i like fighting but the Rangers need to solve the offensive problems/ and defensive, they are having before they worry about a goon squad. The last thing this team needs is Worrel. *Commence Flaming*

I understand the desire to have a tough guy on the team, as opposed to a few pests (and Nieminen hasn't exactly been pesting it up of late), but Worrell isn't the answer to anyone's problems. The guy can't skate, and in the current NHL, that's a huge liability. He'll just get taken advantage of.

You can't punch what you can't catch.

McGrattan does it, Godard does it, Fedoruk does it, etc. Worrell can too
