this should be a really good game. ducks are desperate at 0-4, and the b's just showed up with a phenomenally impressive performance in half 2 of the kings game. not sure what will happen, but it will certainly be worth watching. i'm guessing that the game is on ESPN

GO KNUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps...hey drury- the ducks have 0 points, not 6 :p

Is it my imagination, or does the arrowhead pond look like a california mall?

The fleece isnt much better, but what ever happened to hockey rinks?

*the ghosts of the Olympia, forum, chicago stadium, Maple leaf gardens, old Madison square garden, and the gahden are frowning somewhere*

I been to both Maple Leafs Garden and the Montreal Forum and I'll tell you they give you goose bumps. I can't believe any rink could ever touch Maple Leafs Garden- its was just amazing the way it went up and up. And the banners.....awesome. The Canadiens rink was more awe inspiring when the fans started arriving- it had the feel of a big time broadway show....I am undefeated at the old Forum 3-0-1 and the Habs were good every time I went. I even saw Cleon Daskalakis get a 4-4 tie with the Habs.

The refs/linesmen are the same as last night's game. Let's hope the refs call a better game tonight.

Good point.

I sure hope they've realized that when a guy with the puck KNOWS he's about to get hit- he CANT just turn and face the boards- and if that happens, the HITTER shouldnt be penalized in most cases. -Piels

So what do you think the chances are that Jurcina will finally play tonight? Since the Ducks haven't been having much luck you would think this would be the opportunity to give Jurcina a chance. That being said I'm not going to get my hopes up because I've long ago realized that it's a waste of my time. All I do know is that if they don't soon play him they better send him down to Providence because it's really starting to peeve me off that they're wasting his life away sitting in a press box. But that's just my opinion.

He's not playing... Jurcina that is. Why the intense interest in Jurcina? Hey, I hope he turns into our number 1 d-man, but why him?

I do hope the second line consists of Bergeron - Lapointe - Samsonov

Green, flanked by Rolsten and Axelson make up the best 3rd line in recent Bruin memory. Capable of not only shutting the big lines down, but popping in a few tallies and winning the big faceoff late in the game.

Does Felix start? He deserves it after saving last nights game for us. See that save on Robitaille? Man, that was pure robbery.

Big win for B's tonight. I can feel it.

Right you are!! A second line would propel this team far beyond our original expectations. Now is the time to establish some consistancy in lines. We havn't had a coach keep three lines together here in 10 years. I would love it. Bergeron is key. I hope he is up to it.

Broons are flying- the Ducks are lucky this isn't 1985 when goalies weren't so bundled up or it might already be 2-0. Thornton has been dominant so far...stud. Trade Joe? no way

I watched Jurcina play major junior in Halifax....hence my "intense interest" as you call it. I'd just like to see him get a chance that's all.

19?

Who's that guy #19? He sure can pass, and he's strong on his skates when he's standing...but I can't tell if he has any speed. There were a few times when he could have hustled and created a few great plays but it seems like he didn't feel like it. Does this kid smoke? Is that a C on his chest? I don't get it...

JOE...GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR POSTERIOR!!!

edit: okay, he finally did step it up around 7mins of the 3rd. But there was a moment when he had his man beat and a clear run to the net...and instead he sent a hard pass to Muzz that he couldn't get all of. Why why why???

It would have required four quick strides...but NO!!!

Did a D-man get injured??? I just tuned into the radio and they're saying the Bruins are using a five-man rotation on D...

Boynton just went after Salei...seems like he's in a fighting mood lately.

Hope Joe's ok. Simpson didn't get a penalty, though he was the third man in.

KNUBLE GETS HIS SECOND OF THE NIGHT!!! PP GOAL BY KNUBLE!
TIED WITH ABOUT FOUR MINS. LEFT!
