I would have liked to have seen Hitch go with Storr tonight and give Niittymaki the night off.

Brashear on the 2nd line???????

Another game tonight? All good things need to come to an end and I think the Flyers will lose tonight. Playing last night combined with jet lag is going to be too much UNLESS Forsberg and Gagne start getting the lucky bounces.

The one thing that gives me some hope for this game is the revenge factor. But this team will be really tired from the NYR game.

I also have a bad feeling about this one.

For the simple reason that the team is tired, I would go with Storr so that Niittymaki doesn't get shelled tonight.

i think they win tonight purely because the game last week pissed 'em off. i think NJ next week is going to be really tough though...

Agreed, Elias had a four point night the other night. Without him the Devils were crappy and now they have their top offensive threat back.

It's going to be very interesting to see how this one comes out. I'm praying for a win, but, a lot of factors point towards a loss.

Hopefully the Flyers will put in a better effort this time. Part of me wants Niitty to play as I will be attending the game and seeing him live for the first time but I am also worried that he'll be worn out.

I think it will be a close game. But both teams are going to be tired Washington has had to play us and Ottawa and now us again. They are going to be drained. I think that our top guys are tired, but our bottom guys are better than the Caps, minus Alexander the Great. I say boring game...3-2 Flyers with Ovecheckin getting both for them.

If Ovechkin is out, this should be a piece of cake. I doubt he sits though.

With or without Ovechkin, this game has letdown written all over it.

I doubt it, otherwise, why did he play over 20 minutes last night?

This is a good news. After the move Ovechkin pulled on Therian, Hitch is having second thoughts. Randy should be given a fair chance. I hope he will be better Meyer who is playing much better now or Seindenberg (who didn't show any improvement on NHL level). IMHO

This news even better for the Flyers. I think he may play tough he may not be 100% but I think he will be there.

I agree about the letdown, but I'm still confident with this year's team. In prior years not so much, but with our four rookie forwards and Niittymaki, I have nothing but confidence. I'm expecting a big game out of the youngsters tonight.
