Its cause hes just that good. Better then Ryan Kesler.
Injurys are right
Espen Knutsen, Andrew Cassels, Trevor Letowski, Duvie Westcott, and Tyler Wright are all out.
Fred Brathwaite is starting in goal for Columbus
5-1-2 Record Against Nashville.
Alot of that record has to do with his play in St. Louis. The past two years, we have seen a steady dose of Brathwaite from them. We haven't been successful against the Blues the past two years whether it was Osgood, Johnson, Brathwaite or Quennevilles grandmother.
The Preds aren't injury free though. It looks like we will be without two of our top 6 Dman (Eaton and Kloucek) as well as our enforcer (McKenzie). It's not as bad as Columbus, but we ain't sittin' pretty.
Columbus has six fowards that either played in the minors last season or in juniors. And a converted defenseman to forward. I wouldn't tune in expecting tape to tape passes and highlight reel goals. The refs will be key early on in seeing how much junk they are going to let go. I wouldn't be surprised if both teams got a few PP chances each or 10 apiece.
With all the injuries, I'm expecting a purely defensive (and scrappy) game.
The Jackets can play defense? I expect Brathwaite to be peppered and it's anyone's guess which Brathwaite shows up, the sieve or the quality goalie he can be.

I'm so fired .. I jinxed it  - btw, don't ever buy that new "Hawaiian" Poppa John's pizza the Pred's radio keeps plugging, the one with pineapples. It sounds and most likely is probably disgusting.
Tootoo isn't settling for hits on the Jackets either..
