Gagne? Pitkanen?

I guarantee Gagne will miss at least 2 weeks. He's just too soft. Its a shame, really. But why did Hitch bench Pitkanen for the entire 3rd period? I don't really think he did anything to deserve that. I know it wasn't a punishment and he was just trying to shorten the bench, but I think the Flyers would have been better off with Pitkanen out on the ice.

He's a rookie. They wanted to protect the lead and he made a bad play in the 1st. The way the game was going I don't think he wanted him in there.

Gagne bruised his shoulder.

He is expected to play Tuesday against the Kings and Cechmanek.

That's good news. We really don;t need to lose him at this time.
