Some Sean Avery Love

CBC was doing a special on Fathers of Detroit Red Wings NHL players..they went onto say that some players brought their son's instead of their dads...

They were talking to Chris & Jake Chelios..

They ask him...who's your fav player...

Jake replies with a big smile..SEAN AVERY..

Chelios looks at him, starts laughing & then says..
"Oh dear geezzz, that's the wrong answer"..."I didn't say that he was a smart kid" lol!

I can't believe I miss the Wings special! I was looking forward to it.

Do you know if they'll replay it by any chance, or if I'd be able to see it online?

The Pens need to trade for Avery.

Would help lessen the vagina ratio on the Pens.

How do you figure? Unless the ratio is *** holes to vaginas rather than cajones to vaginas.

'Cept Avery is worthless without a heavy or two riding shotgun. All he'll do is invite the opposing team to ride your guys even harder if you don't already have guys to do the enforcing.

Well don't forget everyone seems to think Avery is 6'9 300lbs.

I have expressed my appreciation for Avery on these boards many times. Sure...he is an A-hole. One of the best A-hole's on the planet today. But he also has some serious skills and plays an important role for the Kings.

I think as a player he is extremely underated. But thats all his fault for being such an *** all the time.

That translates to guys that don't automatically kick his *** because they're the other teams' heavyweights.

We have goons, they're just injured right now.

Put Avery with VandenBussche and Roy.

35 PIMs per shift.

And conveniently, he has posted 4 points in his past 5 games, with 11 PIMs. But of course he's a worthless hockey player, right?

Avery was on the radio today... some funny notes from it

In response to his point production this year, well I've lead the league in PM's before, so I thought I'd try something different. Then he was reminded that he still leads the league in PMs

"Why do LA fans want to watch Kobe make freethrows and lose, come watch us win, me get my *** beat, or me beat someone's ***."

"Canadian reporters don't know how to react to opinions, they're stupid, if you're not a 100 pt guy, you need to not speak."

Anaheim's attendance is dismal, LA & SJ pack the house.

kinda funny the one game when LA played Detroit and Avery got into it with Maltby...one shot from Malts and Avery was down like a sack of potatoes on the ice with a bloody nose. Sorry just had to bring it up.
