My pick would be Todd Fedoruk. The guy can play and he's a great scrapper as well. The Ducks are lucky to have him.

Chris Simon.
A couple years ago I would've said Laraque, but he's too slow for the new NHL.

There don't appear to be too many tough guys who can also play the game, so I'd have to concur with everyone and name Fedoruk.

Brashear is a decent player, but he thinks he is too good and doesn't fight that much and is a disrespectful player. Laraque can play, but the new NHL has exposed his speed.

Fedoruk can play as can a underrated guy like Jason Strudwick. Of course, Tie Domi has some skill and can skate.

Grant Marshall and Darren McCarty can play and hang with the occasional heavy also.

Chris Neil is game and can score too, a tougher version of Jeff Cowan. I will take any of those guys.

All those guys are better fighters than anyone on the Kings, so I'd def take them...

Chris Neil would be my second pick behind Fedoruk.

I was going to say Chris Neil too but I think he'd kick the crap out of Avery in practice and then we'd have another guy on IR.

Dion Phaneuf... he's tougher than nails, can play 27 minutes a night, blocks shots, scores goals, kills penalties, captains the power play and he's 20.

Case closed.

That picture of Blake and Fleury might be the best hockey photo I have ever seen as a Kings fan.

No one. The kings are pretty tough already. The kings have Parros, Cowan, Avery, TK, Gleason, Avery, Brown, Norstrom, Miller, Visnovski and Conroy.

If you are talking about enforcers, the kings have Parros. He can actually play and fight. Lets face it, the days of the enforcer playing only 3 minutes is over. Player have to do both.

Enforcers do have to do both. So the Kings do need to get somebody who CAN do both, because Parros can play, but isn't a great fighter, Tom Kostopolous is a punching bag, and Cowan is one concussion away from retirement.

I remember when we used to have good fighters on this team...Matt Johnson, Stu Grimson, Marty McSorley...and I remember when we used to have bad fighters, Warren Rychel, Barry Potomski, and Steve McKenna.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather give up a little skill for a guy who can fight a bit better and actually intimidate the opposition...Not saying I want a goon, but give me a guy like Neil, Fedoruk, Domi, who can skate and occasionally win a fight and I'll be happy. I can't even recall a Kings player winning a fight this year..oh wait...I can...Cowan beating on a rookie non fighter in Ottawa...

I don't think anyone here listed a pylon who cant play the game AND fight. Neil, Brashear, Domi, Simon, yada yada, they can all play.

Id take Derek Boogaard. Hes young, willing to giver no matter who it is. His game has improved every year since he left junior and he impresses me almost everytime when I see him play.

That, and the fact that having him and Sean Avery in the same locker room probably wouldn't work it.

It's still more likely to happen than Fedoruk to LA, though.

yeah...i've liked the fridge for a while now...he's a tough guy who really does make a difference in all the right ways in a game.....

I'm not sure why people love Neil so much...isnt he one of those guys who loses every fight he gets into? But he does throw his weight around and chip in some points....
