You are crazy. And I say that every year.

Morand or Comtois. That's all there is to it. Vive le Québec!

Here's hoping I won't have to care about any of the guys in the top ten next year.

I live for sports drafts basically

Always good to get things early. There's time in the summer to re-watch your recorded games and pay more attention to the younger kids

+ camps start fairly early in the summer ...

Big fan of Comtois. Could be another top 5 pick for the Q. Plays a complete game with a high level of skills.

Plenty of players from the Q could rise in the top 2 rounds with good seasons: Milot-Ouellet had a good season for Gatineau, Durandeau is quite talented as well, Tesdeale shows up to work every game, and really hoping Baribeau can step it up next year. Could be an excellent goalie. Loved him in AAA hockey.

2017 looks like it's going to to be a good year. Maybe less high-end talent but way deeper.

Liljegren is one hell of a d-man

It looks like a race between Patrick and Liljegren for number 1, with the former having the edge at the moment. Foote could very well round out the top 3, that kid is for real, already plays like a pro.

Good goalie crop for the 'Q, Baribeau and D'Orio leading it. D'Orio will play behind a powerhouse in Saint John and could get plenty of exposure.

2 2nds

Let's hope we don't have another lottery pick this year, Tolvanen would be a good pick though.

well he's already doing well in the USDP U18 program and he played really well with Brown at the U18's, so its not a stretch.

Liljegren is the best player in the draft. He is like Oliver Ekman Larsson.

Cal Foote is currently ranked around 10, but man I can see him jumping far.

6'3 defenseman who put up 36 points in his draft-1 season, still can grow to 6'4/5, and is coming from the defense factory of Kelowna.

Michael Rasmussen looks like someone special as well.

Early favourite: Connor Dewar

Reminds me so much of Gallagher.

Could be a nice mid-round pickup.

Yamamotooooooooo. Love that name. Next year is a 31 team draft, as we welcome Las Vegas to the fold.

Question is do we get another top 10 pick again? Outside of LV, who are going to be in the top 5? Vancouver and Ottawa are my guesses. Toronto will get at least a top 10. Do the Rangers have a hard & fast fall?

While the are some great players in this draft, I don't see anyone worth tanking over? Maybe similar to 2013 when MacKinnon was taken 1st overall? Good player but no way near franchise type. And there were some really great players taken behind him (Barkov, Monahan, Ristolainen etc.).

Well Welsh has been the best Q goaltender so far so this might have something to do with it, i think long term Baribeau and Dorio might be consider better NHL prospect just because of their size. NHL teams barely look at 5-11 and 6'0" goaltender anymore.
