TheGoon63 is for real

I was talking to a guy from the CGY boards who says they have a guy who says he's friends with so and so and is always spouting off about stuff and he's never right.

We here at the Oiler boards have THEGOON63 who claims to have inside info on Bergeron and some of you seem to doubt his legitimacy so I thought I'd ask Bergy tonight about it.

I can tell you THEGOON63 is legit. He IS a buddy of Bergy's so if you see him posting something... you can believe that he's not trolling or something.

I don't think Bergy has read the boards though because he asked if Goon was saying bad things but I was quick to point out that it was quite the opposite in fact.

Good job Goon, keep it up.

Guy

Unfortunately for me... the Heritage Classic is one of the two games I've been told that I should not expect to be given access too. With so much media from around the world expected to be there, the low guy on the totem pole (or "that Hockey's Future Guy" as they probably call me) gets last dibs. I'll have to find a TV next to some keg some where.

Well, unless some 'miracle' happens, I won't be at the Classic either but in Calgary (ugh) watching it in a hotel room.

You know as GREAT as the experience of being in the crowd would be - I think I'd prefer to watch it on TV so you can actually see. People in the top bowl (or what ever it's called) won't see jack *****

Nip u = Nippon, then Japan would be correct.

I do hope a lot, that the whole game is broadcasted in Germany, but i don´t believe it.
If it will not be broadcasted in Germany, is it possible that someone could record that game for me ? (i´ll pay all the taxes, the tape, etc.)

I´ve learned to live with it, that i just able to see 2 Oilers Games per season (complete) - last year they broadcasted one game (Edmonton at Boston and the Bruins held the Oilers scoreless )

Either our 'inside info' on another thread is wrong, or nobody wants to tell the evil hobbit.

"It's going to be fun,'' said rookie defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron, who's either brave beyond his years or too green to recognize trouble when he sees it. "I've watched those guys since I was young. Now I have a chance to play against them.''
I plead temporary insanity. I was caught up in the mood of the article I had quoted, and rushed at the same time. Hence, I didn't choose my words very carefully. I was imagining the coaches going; "You tell him." - "No, you tell him."

I assure you all, my intentions were not to commit calumny. Sorry if my words did not reflect my meaning.

My dad had a brother who committed calumny in the 50s. Dad said he wasn't right since the war.

Not at all. Apparently there's some kid on the Flames board who claims to be buddies with a bunch of players but he's really only like 16 or something.

Not you.
