*sigh*

What's the point?

So Ovechkin fanboys can feel good about themselves?

I love how Crosby lovers dismiss the season because AO is older and whatever other reason.

Just like AO fans would do the same if Crosby were ahead three points with all sorts of similar whining.

In all seriousness, a neutrally titled, pinned "Calder race/Rookie scoring update" thread might not be a bad idea.

This... is a bit much. I kind of like the idea of a single generic "Crosby/Ovechkin had a notable game, and boy, do I want to talk about it!" thread, rather than a new one each time. Four of every five games from these two is a pretty strong game. It would keep clutter to a minimum, let everyone know where to go to discuss the subject, and where not to go in order to avoid it entirely.

These kids are great, but I can see how it's annoying to those simply interested in charting the NHL as a whole, and not just a couple of rookies on bottom-five teams.

No, but having your name posted most often on the Hilarious & Fun Boards is.

This wouldn't shock me at all to be honest. Troy looks out of shape and Esmerelda looks like she packs a wallop.

These threads are really tiresome. However, he scored a very beautiful goal tonight. I mean very.

BREAKING NEWS!

Gunnar Stahl's Comin For Ya Ovechkin!!!

Iceland Will Own You.

In other news, 3 points can be made up in a game if need be most times, and a few lucky bounces could have you involved in a lot of scoring plays and garner you a lot of points, so the game is not over.

Let's just play it like Ovechkin and go with the "Who cares as long as I try my best to play my best, it doesn't really matter"

Guys, guys!

Crosby vs. Ovechkin threads are not cool anymore, it's old-fashioned and nobody wants to hear about them.

Now it's all about Crosby vs. Kovalchuk!!!

Age shouldn't be a factor. Theres not much of a difference between 18 and 20, especially with the wieght-training these guys get these days.

it wasn't a factor when Kovalchuk and Heatley entered the league. it shouldn't be now.

It is getting really ridiculous

I motion that every thread featuring Crosby vs. Ovechkin comparison is locked on a spot!
